Here is the beginning of a news story concerning Wisconsin politics and the Right side of the aisle:
THIENSVILLE, Wis. -- The founder of Tea Party Nation claimed liberal ideology is responsible for "a billion" deaths over the past century during a raucous rally here Saturday in support of one of the six Republican state senators facing a recall election Tuesday.
"I will tell you ladies and gentlemen, I detest and despise everything the left stands for. How anybody can endorse and embrace an ideology that has killed a billion people in the last century is beyond me," said Tea Party Nation CEO Judson Phillips.
Phillips, who a day prior likened protesters of Gov. Scott Walker to Nazi storm troopers, urged a few hundred tea party supporters to turn out for state Sen. Alberta Darling, who is in a ferocious battle with state Rep. Sandy Pasch to hold onto her suburban Milwaukee seat. . . . . end of quote
This is not the main point of this post but, there is no doubt that the politics of the Left have caused the deaths of millions of people, world wide. The Liberal ban on DDT and associated "green" policies, for example, have killed millions of Africans, millions. Go to the site, Eco Imperialism, and read for yourself. The site is authored by one of the founders of the Green Movement, Paul Driessen, no less, and is a stinging indictment of the reckless abandon the Green Movement has for the poor and emerging nations of the world. You have the KKK, a Southern killing machine up until the mid-sixties, a covey of killers tied exclusively to the Democrat Party. Anyone remember the Old South? I do. And it was the exclusive handiwork of a Democrat political machine. Hundreds were killed and millions still suffer the negative impact of those years, millions who have forgotten about the real culprits of their historic misery. And then, there are the eco-terrorists who run around this country, burning down new housing projects and automobile dealership, causing billions of dollars worth of damages each year all in the name of "saving the planet." I include abortion, as well. Since 1976, the liberal doctrine of abortion has seen the deaths, is directly responsible for the deaths of well over 35 million unborn infant human beings.
But, again, that is not the main point of this post. Name calling is. In the quoted article, we read of "Nazi storm troopers" and in that example, the Left sees moral equivalency for their daily and orchestrated use of name calling. One name here, and another there, from the Right; a day in which leaders from the Right use the same phraseology and, wala, the Left finds justification for a day in and day out, orchestrated barrage of name calling. We have the ignorant John Kerry, calling the TEA Party Movement "terrorists," and we cringe. Then, we find out that "terrorist" is [only] the new word of the day for all spokesmen on Left, their media pundits at the Post, the Times, NBC news and their president. It is everyday and it lasts for two to three weeks at a time before a new "word of the day" is sanctioned and a new cycle of name calling begins. Left wing name calling is orchestrated and perpetual. Right Wing name calling, just as distasteful, is not. There is never a day of political interview in which the Left Wing's "word of the day" is not used by all who are interviewed. There simply is no political parallel to this strategy. These people are as original as a used nickel. Ever walked by a quiet turkey pen? Make a noise. One turkey will respond and, immediately, the entire yard will erupt with the sound of "gobble, gobble," and then, silence. Well, that is Left Wing rhetoric.
And, I add, the depth of their rhetorical strategy is no more challenging than is the Left Wing sound of
Gobble, gobble
