Greenspan gives display to Liberal Intelligentsia: "we can't default because we know how to print money"

That's right. Our headline echo's Greenspan's thinking. The actual headline, No Chance of Default, US Can Print Money: Greenspan says it all. And with that, Andrea Mitchell's hubby destroys the mystic of being one of the smartest financial minds of our time.

Keynesian economics is dead in the water without its precious printing press. The Keynesian economist believes in printing and spending. He has believed that since the mid-1930's and now, more than eight decades later, macro-economics is in its death throws, here in America and on the world's stage.

Back in early 2009, Obama spoke these words: "All government spending is stimulus." Yes. That is what the man said. Sooooooo, how come the Left is critical of the Bush years when "spending" was at record highs ?? Let's not forget that Obama voted for all of Bush's spending except for the war and, now, years later, pretends to be critical of the Bush spending record. That was back in the day when Obama argued that increasing the debt ceiling was the sure sign of irresponsible leadership. He was right, you know. But, now that he is "the man," his feigned sense of political correctness has been revealed to be no more than rhetorical jousting.

The man has no core beliefs and that is proving to be his demise.

Back to the Greenspan nonsense.

Think about "printing money" as a solution to having no money. I mean, think about it on a personal level. You have no money, so you print money. But, of course, you cannot do that, so you apply for credit and get your first Visa card with a $20,000 limit and your troubles are over . . . . for a while. But, in time, it becomes obvious that this money source is coming to an end. Nothing remains except for a house, a car and a lifestyle that you could never, truly, afford.

What to do ? What to do ?

If you act before you miss any monthly payments to Visa, you can have the wife apply and get a second card. After all, your credit rating is AAA+. And Visa sends you another card and another line of credit. About the time you are on your fifth card, you realize that you cannot continue this insane practice and the pain of "withdrawal" just might be the end of your marriage; certainly some of the cars will have to go and that million dollar white house you love, well, it really belongs to others. Now, you are applying for credit out of fear; you have no choice, not if you expect to continue your present lifestyle.

And then, the end comes. Visa realizes you have no money and your line of credit is cut off. Forty percent of every dollar you are spending comes from credit and the credit is gone. The wife calls from work and tells you the car has been repossessed . . . . . . . . . and she is going to divorce you for everything you have. The kids call from college. Their semester application has been turned down with just a year left until graduation. Your creditors are calling; they are demanding a payment or the furniture must be returned. Your wife's jewelery, the summer condo, the clothes bought on credit, your hairdresser, it all takes money and you have not had enough money to pay for all this for decades.

Understand that back with the first credit card, you and the wife could have had a conference and considered the future. You could have paid off that card and went for the little brown house instead of the big white house. You could have decided for the Honda Accord instead of the Mercedes. It would have been some-what uncomfortable, but compared to the adjustments you are having to make, years later, well, there is no comparison.

Our country is on its fourth credit card and we have to decide, together, are we going to go after the fifth credit card or are we going to get our affairs in order. Understand that after this nation blows up, economically, there will be folks in the streets, coming into my house and stealing everything I own -- right after the gun fight, that is. My house and my things are your houses and your things. That is where we are headed. That is what they mean we hear talk of becoming "Greece."

The TEA Party Movement is screaming the warnings and all they get in return is idiocy from the Establishment, whether Democrat or Republican. The TEA Party is shouting out, "Lets start living within our means" and for that bit of sound advice, they are being vilified by the goons on the Left. I mentioned the "gun fight." I recently bought a short barreled 12 gauge shot gun with an eight slug chamber, because I think we are headed for civil unrest. Guns have been flying off the shelf for more than a year, now, not because folks are planning on going to war within this country, but for personal protection. Many of us are afraid. Obama and his covey of idiots have put this country in harms way. It is the "haves" versus the "have nots."

I won't take the time, but the reader should simply take the phrase, "haves versus have nots" and google for results. If you dig deep enough, you will find that the socialist agenda is actually defined in these precise terms, "haves versus have nots."

The Left's politic of social justice is grounded in the notion of Keynesian Tom Foolery. Deficit spending is at the center of Left Wing, One World, ideology. That is why they incredibly oppose a "balanced budget" Constitutional amendment. That is why they are calling names and lying to the populace. Look at Obama's response to the S & P downgrade. It is Standard and Poors fault, not his. Standard and Poors made a "mathematical mistake" (which they deny, btw). It is S & P that is "out of touch," according to Tim Geithner; never mind the fact that we owe 60 [some say "100 trillion"] trillion in unfunded liabilities because of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, extended unemployment, ObamaCare (they now admit that this will cost us more than a trillion dollars in the coming decade), the various social welfare programs, the medical prescription bill of the Bush era and the added pressure of three wars.

Understand this: we have enough money coming into our coffers, each month, to pay for the interest on our debt, to make all our payments for Social Security and Medicare, to fund the prescription bill, to fund the Pentagon and to care for our wounded soldiers . . . . and nothing else. We cannot pay for our wars without borrowing money. We cannot pay the unemployment bill. We cannot support ObamaCare. We cannot continue with any welfare programs. Government must be sized down by at least 30%. We cannot pay for farm subsidies or cancer research. Federal employees will lose their retirement packages. And on and on. After you pay for the five categories I have listed, above, there is no money for anything else !!! And it is getting worse.

Here is a scary fact: we could take all the money, every dime, that people make over $200,000, and it would not pay for six months worth of debt. Taxation will not pay the bills !! Not even close. Obama has proposed a trillion dollar tax on the "rich," which is anyone making $100,000 after taxes. Seriously. His proposal of taxing the "rich," will pay for only 8% of our annual debt. EIGHT FREAKING PERCENT.

Taxing the rich is no solution at all.
Dare I used the word "obviously?"

Do we cut all those programs? Some say "Yes ! Cut them all and cut them now." Of course, that takes us back to the "gun fight" I mentioned, earlier. That is not my solution. I hate gun fights. But none of the remaining programs can continue if we do not increase our nation's GDP, if we do not privatize where we can, if we do not take a hard look at government waste - and there are trillions of dollars in waste. All entitlement programs must be revised, especially Medicare. It is the big dog in this situation. Benefits have to be cut or "membership" has to be revised. Very uncomfortable changes have to occur and in a hurry. Understand that

Standard and Poors did not react to the TEA Party, it reacted to our dysfunction as a government and our increasing national debt.

The social programs of the past 70 years are in danger of being cut or revised, and the Left knows this. Their political scheming is about to come to an end . . . . . and if not, then our nation's tranquility will be the next victim.
