Sidebar: And how does Fox News stack up against the morning news? The 6 to 9 morning show, Fox and Friends, with Gretchen Carlson and company, scores 2 million viewers most mornings, to 1.5 million at CNN and a half million for Morning Joe at MSNBC.
Back to Beck: here are the actual viewing numbers on average for Beck and his "competition."
>> FNC's Glenn Beck*: 1,951,000 total viewers (412,000 25-54-year-olds)
>> CNN's Situation Room: 581,000 (157,000)
>> MSNBC's Hardball: 661,000 (155,000)
>> CNBC's Fast Money: 203,000 (47,000)
>> HLN’s Showbiz Tonight: 201,000 (65,000)
What this tells you is this: Beck's audience is larger than his several competitors combined. The notion that Beck's contract is in danger is sheer silliness. The Liberal Media, does not understand that Beck's viewer list is one that features a remarkable degree of loyalty. Fire Beck for no good reason and the time slot will take a big hit. I would personally help in leading the protest.
I see nt signs that Glenn is in trouble at FNC. None.
