She is breathing on her own. She continues to understand follow commands. Dr. Michael Lemole was very positive in his review of her condition: "I am very encouraged by the fact that she has done so well."

A point of interest: one of the doctors, during this morning's briefing, mentioned that the bullet traversed her brain and "exited the back" of the head. Maybe this was a mistake (?).

Update: a member of the press noted this change in the bullets trajectory assumptions. Dr. Rhee fielded that question and confirmed that it does appear the bullet entered the from the front and exited the back of the head.
