Here are the results of a survey published by CBS News. It is interesting for two reasons. First, it is the produce of a left leaning service. Here at the Right leaning Midknight Review, most of our facts come from the Left. Secondly, it verifies our contention that political talk has nothing to do with the terrible events of this past Saturday.
It shows that 69% of Republicans and 49% of Democrats believe that political talk had nothing to do with the shootings. What is even more important, perhaps, is the fact that 56% of Independents do not believe that political talk is the culprit.
The combined result is that 57% of Americans do not hold Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh or Keith Olbermann or Barack Obama responsible for the actions of Jared Loughner.
Advice to our liberal friends: stop with your very typical blame game or risk, further, driving Independents away from your political efforts.
This is not the first time we all have seen the Liberal Spin Machine politicize a tragedy. The last time I remember this sort of thing happening with regard to a critical national story was back on 9/11. Specifically, when it was revealed that President Bush took 8 minutes to fully react to the news, that fateful day, as he sat before a class of elementary children. Over and over, the case was made with regard to a preconceived notion that Bush acted irresponsibly. This spin was in the papers beginning with the very next news cycle.
It did not work then and it does not appear that such it is working in this case.
Point of post: it is rewarding to learn that most Americans are not buying into this latest Marxist/lib spin.
In the end, Jared Loughner is being exposed as a hateful punk who had no connections to anyone, including his own family. He supposedly worshiped a skull placed in a tent in his back yard. How nuts is that?? The answer to that and other related questions will take us all far away from Palin or Limbaugh or the despicable pundits on the afternoon shows at MSNBC. In the end, the shooter had gotten himself so inverted that he could see nothing but himself and his own radicalize discontent. It is that simple.
