Our open letter to Judge Napolitano. Our complaint against legalizing marijuana -- its not what you expect.

I am 65 and hardly a pietist.

Having said that, I must comment on your continued campaign to
legalize marijuana.

For the sake of brevity, I make an anecdotal argument.

My son recently bought a beautiful home in the country, outside Fresno, California.

He paid $400,000 for the property and home. Currently, that investment is worthless
and his family is in some danger.

There are three medical marijuana farms bordering his property. Since they are legal,
no one was required to tell him about this fact, before he bought the property. He has
gangbangers, too lazy to grow their own pot, crossing his property and stealing plants
out of the adjacent farms.

Months before he purchased the property, there was a gun fight on one of the streets
bordering the property.

Making marijuana possession legal will do NOTHING to change any of the above.
The lazy gangsters will continue to steel. Gun fights continue to be a potential.
Property trespass will continue to be a serious problem.

We have purchased a couple of assault weapons, several shotguns (short barrel) , and
the prospect of defending ourselves is a very distasteful necessity.

Thanks for nothing as you miss the most important point of the argument.
