Palin moves 12 points up on Barack Obama.

This may be a shocker to some who read these results but not for those of us who understand the value of the TEA Party movement. What has been the result of 20 months of legislative tyranny and deceit ? Perhaps Rasmussen has given us the answer in today's postings:

Fifty-two percent (52%) of Likely U.S. Voters say their own views are closer to Sarah Palin’s than they are to President Obama’s, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 40% say their views are closer to the president’s than to those of the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate. . . . read the full report here >>>

While some compare "likability" numbers --- Palin versus Obama, others zero in on so-called "approval numbers." It is our opinion that this particular survey makes Palin extremely viable as a consideration for presidential politics. It is not the fact, alone, that 52% identify with Palin's belief system that is so telling. Rather, it is the comparison between Palin and Obama and the demonstrable separation between the Governor and the Novice.

The question of the day is this: if the election were held today, would the Americans vote on the basis of who they most identify with or because of some other value? Time will tell, but this survey elevates Palin as a serious presidential selection.
