Obama's "party-down" during this week and are looking forward (no doubt) to the holiday season, just around the corner.

When people talk of the Obama's "party affliliation," folks have no idea if the reference is to the Democrat Party and or to their propensity for having fun while the nation goes to hell. So intense is the "party factor," this week, that some worry about the Obama's stamina: "Hopefully the Obamas get some rest Thursday or Friday, because they will be back in formalwear on Saturday night for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's (CBCF) annual Phoenix Awards dinner." We have previously reported that in 2009, the White House sponsored 332 evening events. Let's not forget that Barack has made more than 70 trips to the golf course, spending a full month of his first 20 months, trying to improve his swing. He and his have taken 6 vacations since becoming Chief Whatever, the last being a 10 vacation in the Hamptons on the same weekend that Iran "went nuclear" (August 21).

Midknight Review has not collected information for 2010, but Barack's speech schedule for 2009 included 726 televised speeches, personal appearances, campaign junkets and international conferences (Cairo, Copenhagen) totaling 9 full months in time spent writing/editing, travel time, and attendance at the events, themselves. Understand that when it is all said and done, Obama spent nearly 10 months of his first 12 doing nothing but playing golf and making speeches -- again, 10 months out of 12 doing nothing of national import.

Point of post: to inform as to the Obama's disconnect with the American people they pretend to govern. Understand that Barack has spent more time in personal appearances than all previous presidents, combine.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

MICHELLE OBAMA: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."
