Major network news lost another three quarter of a million views. FoxNews increased.

The new ratings-totals for 2009-2010 network evening news season are in and "the news" isn't good. Compared to the same period last year, "NBC Nightly News" ABC's "World News" and the "CBS Evening News" have lost a combined 739,000 Total Viewers and a combined 338,000 A25-54 viewers.

"Nightly News with Brian Williams," which finished #1 for the 14th consecutive season, lost the least: -138K while Katie Couric's CBS program, lost the most: -343K. "World News" which saw Charles Gibson anchor the first few months of the season, and Diane Sawyer picking up in December, lost the most younger viewers: -221K (2.351M in 08-09 v. 2.130 in 09-10).

In the end, it is obvious that network news is out of step with the American people as it functions in defense of the Democrat Party. Few see this as their primary function and the networks are paying for their continuing Progressive bias.

On the other hand, FoxNews is having a record year with more people watching that news service than all other cable news outlets combined.

The more conservative Wall Street Journal is the only major print paper increasing its profit margin and readership.

Here at Midknight Review, we have several pages listed on our blog including a "Palin Page," as well as pages dedicated to Obama and Michelle. We have maybe two or three "hits" per month on the Obama sites compared to yesterday, alone, of 70 hits for the Palin Page. That speaks volumes as to the thinking of the nation.

Point of post: we must not forget that the Progressive agenda is losing steam AND support. Conversely, the conservative agenda is well under way.
