House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, called for an investigation of those who are protesting the building of the Ground Zero Mosque on Tuesday.

She told San Francisco's KCBS radio: AUDIO

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque [is] being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City." Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing the $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American.". . . . . READ THE ARTICLE >>>

Editor's notes: and to think that this clown of a politician is two heartbeats away from the presidency !!! Is she calling for an investigation of Harry Reid? Or the growing Democrat chorus opposing the location of the mosque? Does the reader know that the Imam pushing this mosque is traveling in the Middle East, raising money for the mosque, ON OUR DIME ?? That's right -- we are paying for this terrorist sympathizer's [he refuses to condemn Hamas] trip across the Atlantic.

We wonder why Homeland Security is not concerned with who is paying for the mosque. If any of the monies are coming from terrorist agencies, that is in violation of the law. Where is Eric Holder and the DOJ . . . . or is this another Federal law they have decided to not enforce?

Coming back to this non-practicing Catholic legislator - why is she not concerned for the enforcement of Federal law? Why does she not care about the thousands of "survivors" of the Twin Towers, the grief they feel and their opposition to the site in question? Does she imagine that the "survivors" are all conservatives, all Republicans, all non-Muslims ?

Midknight Review thinks there needs to be an I.Q. standard applied to those who would seek political office. At least we won't have to listen to Pelosi or Maxine Waters any more.
