Editor's notes: is this another indication of the troubles Obama is having in keeping his base in toe? Barbra Streisand was one of two co-hosts who did not attend this fund raiser. It is not clear as to whether she paid the $30,400 admission price but it is clear that she was nowhere to be found. While picture ops were offered, Obama made it the point that the purpose of the event was to raise money in support of those who "took the difficult votes." Understand that Obama has left many in the House of Representative in a most difficult situation. For example, he put pressure on the Marxist Pelosi to get her members to vote in favor of the very unpopular Cap and Trade legislation - which they did - only to have this vote postponed in the Senate, leaving the Representatives hung out to dry. And the beat goes on. His hard left base has fallen "out of love" with their imagined hero. His celebrated blackness has turned into a very unwanted darkness. We believe that Obama will go down in history as the worst thing to hit the Democrat Party since, well, since ever. he he he
