Cash-strapped California considers legalizing sports gambling... Editor's notes: for those of you who do not live in California and are interested in the long term effects of Socialism: Most people think that California's problems are the result of the current national crisis. That is not true. California has been spending more than it has taken in for more than 20 years. And now, it no longer "works." So what does a state without money decide to do? Legalize gambling on the reservations; legalize pot and go into the business of growing and selling it to sources outside the state and now, the legalization of sports gambling and build high speed rail. We have no industry. Those who earn $70,000 a year are leaving the state to the tune of 3500 per month. Half of our millionaires have left the state in the past 5 years. Point of post: no point except to give you the picture of a failed state. California no longer has the ability to be what it was just 5 years ago. Hamburger flippers and hippiefied tent dwellers cannot run the economy the size of the State of California.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:
