Midknight Review -- new and revised: Major media sits on this story for two months: "5 Muslims arrested at Fort Jackson !!" Feel safer now ???

Here is the headline and it was an exclusive for CBN. It is an event that took place last December ! We are just now posting it here at Midknight Review because of difficulties in getting this story confirmed. This morning at 4:15 am, FoxNews did, in fact, comfirm this news release to be true, so here is the headline and news release:

CBN Exclusive: Five Muslim Soldiers Arrested at Fort Jackson in South Carolina

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.

A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the "Fort Jackson Five" may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.

Coming as it does on the heels of November's Fort Hood jihadist massacre, this news has major implications.

Indeed, more than sheer "implications," there is the matter of Muslim military employment in an Army that is not free to question their loyalty. Doesn't that sound a little crazy to you? No doubt there are many patriotic Muslims within the military but the fact that as Muslim, the military has to navigate obstacles not associated with any other group makes them an extremely volatile demographic within our Armed Forces.

The above story has been around for more than two months --- proving our point. Not a word in the Media until this morning. Not a word from the major networks. Nothing from the military itself. And nothing from Obama although we do expect him to make a TV appearance, informing the Muslim community not to worry, that we are not at war with Islam and his middle name is not a media fantasy.

The mere fact that it took more than two months for this story to surface is the most disturbing of all considerations. Those of you who think his "war on terror" is on the right track, explain this one to us.

The irrationality of thought behind the current "treatment" of Muslims leads me to believe that, now that the Progressives have elected our first black president, they have now found that they needed a new targeted group for their "affirmative action" efforts, hence, all of the current efforts at bowing to, protecting and denying where the practitioners of Islam are concerned. They now have a protected status that does not exist for the rest of the American citzenry.
