Another den of liberals try to silence the TEA Party Movement and fail.

On Aug. 25, the trustees of Andover Township sent a letter saying: “Due to your group’s political affiliation, in our opinion as a case by case option we are denying your request to use Andover Township Park.”

A libertarian group filed an appeal and the court agreed. Understand that the Andover TEA Party wanted commemorate Sept. 17, 1787, the day the U.S. Constitution was implemented.
It is forever amazing to this editor that so many anti-Constitutionalists are loose, running around pretending to be Americans.

Understand this: THE 1ST AMENDMENT IS ALL ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF POLITICAL SPEECH. That is the specific form of speech the framers had in mind when they wrote the 1st amendment. We know that the question of free speech has been complicated over the years. Speech that causes unnecessary fear, seditious speech (whatever that is) and hate speech are all legal considerations that confuse the original intent of the amendment and allow Marxist barons to move into the public arena with hope of controlling speech under these various banners.

CNN pushes for attack on free political speech. Here is video proof

CNN folks call for a crackdown of sorts on internet bloggers. Understand that the Lefties of the day do not believe in free speech. Hard to believe, but more and more Americans have overcome their "people can't be that bad" thinking and are now beginning to accept that a third of this nation [at least] simply do not believe in the Constitution as originally written nor the historical tradition that have made this nation great, without debate.

Obama has talked about the "challenge" of speech that is both inaccurate [as determined by Obama] and harmful to the American political process. Such talk is nothing more than the Left framing a circumstance that leads to legislation against free political speech. Understand that the protections of the First
Amendment concerned themselves explicitly with the matter of protection for political speech. The chatter from this Administration on this matter is in DIRECT contradiction to the First Amendment.

A veiled threat against the First Amendment is found in a speech at Hampton University in May of this year:
" . . . . . . . Obama said at Hampton University, Virginia. . . . . .

“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said. He bemoaned the fact that “some of the craziest claims can quickly claim traction,” in the clamor of certain blogs and talk radio outlets. “All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy.” PERMALINK

How wrong can a politician be ?? "All of this ... " is what freedom of speech is all about. It is a fact that only in America are "the craziest claims" protected and in that protection, free speech is secure. Canada, France, England, Mexico, and on and on, none of these great nations believe in free speech. --- jds.
