U.S. Keeps Saudi Arabia’s Worst Secret

The most comprehensive study of Saudi textbooks ever commissioned by the U.S. government was completed at the end of 2012, but to this date the State Department has kept it from the public.

The Daily Beast's article continues:   The report, shared with The Daily Beast ahead of publication Tuesday, says, “The State Department is in possession of a uniquely exhaustive set of recent findings about incitement in Saudi Arabia's education system, findings that it has declined to release for public consumption.”  . . . . .   The Foundation for Defense of Democracies quoted sources familiar with the study however painting a different picture. Their report said Saudi textbooks “create a climate that fosters exclusivity, intolerance, and calls to violence that put religious and ethnic minorities at risk.” . . . . read the Daily Beast for its full report.

Editor's notes:  How is it that the Saudi's continue to be called "friend" when they teach violence against the United States to this day,  and 17 of the 19 murders on 9/11 came from their country?  To make things worse,  yesterday, March 25, there was news revealing the Saudi's financed an arms agreement between Russian and Egypt and presented in the startling headline,  below:

Point of post:  The reader should be aware of the comprehensive nature that is Obama's failure in the Middle East.  We should not forget his speech "to the Muslim World" in Cairo in 2009 or the fact that he supported the Muslim Brotherhood in his betrayal of the evil but pro-West,  Hosani Mubarck, Egypt's long time president.  This past week,  an Egyptian court condemned 526 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to death,  as Egypt pulls away from Obama and allies itself with Russia.  .   ' Nough said.

Democrats Avoiding Spending Fights

Most Americans do not know that the 111th Congress, the Pelosi/Obama Congress, has no intentions of passing a 2010-2011 fiscal budget. They have spent so much money -- our estimate is nearly 9 trillion dollars -- without any concrete results, that they are hoping by not having a "budget fight," the voting public will not notice their gross irresponsibility in this regard.

Midknight Review is not sure why this is a current headline. Last December, the Dems finalized their spending plans for fiscal 2010-2011 as reported by CBS News:

The Senate voted to pass a $1.1 trillion spending bill that rolled six bill into one large package, as Congress tries to wrap up its appropriations work for fiscal year 2010, which is already two-and-a-half months gone.

Understand that the Federal "fiscal year" always runs from October 1 thru September 30. Rather than actually passing a budget which quantifies spending categories and sets limits on expenditures, This bunch of financial losers has decided to pass an "appropriations bill." The difference? In the case of an agreed upon budget, when Congress overspends, there is [often] a very public fight in which the voters become aware of budgetary "mismanagement" on a particular issue. With an appropriations bill, well, it is not a "budget bill." There is no "over spending" an appropriations bill. When Congress comes to the end of the particular appropriation(s), they simply fashion another bill for a different sum, create a reason for the increased spending and away we go.

The actual fiscal budget for 2010 is/was expected to be somewhere between $1.6 and $2.0 trillion - the largest in history and the second consecutive record setting budget deficit for Mr. Transparency, Barack Obama. The Dems see no advantage in presenting such a budget so they have decided to forgo the publicity and simply make up their "budget" as they proceed through the fiscal year.

This is the first time in modern history that Congress has decided to actually forgo a budget. What is even more ridiculous than this, is the fact that the Democrats intend to run against George Bush in the 2010 midterms and the presidential election of 2012.
