Newt Gingrich thinks a Republican landslide is in store for the 2018 elections.
In a column for Fox News,
Gingrich slams the media’s role in blasting President Trump, and says
"the size of the GOP victory in 2018 will be an enormous shock."
Gingrich
also says the media has been lying about the Republican tax
legislation, and says that it turned out to be much better for Americans
than the media has described.
Though Gingrich spends much of the
op-ed blasting the media, he cites a CBS News report in which three
families learned they’d be paying less in taxes on the new plan.
Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
We now know that it was Obama's "fairness doctrine" that caused the deaths of those in Benghazi and the 30 Navy Seals in Afghanistan.
Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Gold Star father Billy Vaughn praised the loosened rules of engagement President Donald Trump authorized Defense Secretary James Mattis to operate with.
Vaughn, whose Navy SEAL son, Aaron, was killed in 2011 when his chopper was shot down in Afghanistan [with 30 Seal Team 6 members on board . . . . . clear revenge for the killing of Osama bin Laden] said there was no pre-assault fire the night his son was killed — a result of Obama’s restrictive rules of engagement.
“[T]hat night, the AC-130 overhead asking to engage multiple times enemy combatants on the ground was not allowed to engage those enemy combatants with weapons and it’s very likely that one of those enemy combatants took that chopper down that night,” Billy Vaughn said of the night his son was killed.
Under Trump, U.S. forces are no longer required to be in contact with enemy forces before opening fire and fighters on the ground would also have more authority to make decisions, which Vaughn said will help save the lives of military members.
According to Vaughn, military decisions under Obama were made by people in the White House “who had never seen the theater of war.”
Trump matches Obama for end of year approval numbers ..... with three times as much accomplished.
Rasmussen Poll shows Trump at 46% APPROVE this morning, with 53% DISAPPROVE...
What about Obama at same exact date first year in presidency?? 46% APPROVE, 53% DISAPPROVE!

During his first year in office, Barack spent no more than one month getting things done and the Left dares to pretend that Trump is the lazy one.
Rebecca Ballhaus / Wall Street Journal:
President Trump Spent Nearly One-Third of First Year in Office at Trump-Owned Properties
— Unlike his predecessors, president traveled frequently to places he
owns but where others pay to stay — President Donald Trump, who is
currently spending a 10-day Christmas vacation … [except for the Christmas weekend, this was a working "vacation" ~ editor]
Editor: And most of that time was spent working, i.e., 3/4 diplomatic meetings per day, strategic conferences with agency heads and party leadership, calls to heads of state, planning sessions reviewing N Korea and the Iranian nuclear threat, Russian and Chinese military and trade threats, the war versus ISIS and its territorial demise three years ahead of Obama's do-nothing schedule, planning the 2018 legislative agenda, dealing with Obama's European/U.S. transformation and on and on . Barack's first year was spent giving 726 speeches, fund raising efforts, and personal appearance . . . . . one month in the office, "working."

Yes, the Prez can earn money while being president. So says a Democrat judge.
Hollywood Reporter: Donald Trump is having quite a week. Not only did the tax
reform bill pass — likely saving him significant money — but a federal
judge in New York has just rejected a lawsuit that challenges whether
he’s impermissibly benefiting financially from being U.S. President.
The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington brought the lawsuit a few days after he became the country’s leader in January. The watchdog group alleged a violation of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the U.S. Constitution, known as the “Foreign Emoluments Clause.” Specifically, the plaintiffs (which later would include those in the hospitality business competing with Trump’s hotels and restaurants) took issue with how foreign leaders were attempting to curry favor by booking stays at Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel, how the Chinese granted Trump additional trademarks, and even how foreign-government-owned broadcasters were paying for The Apprentice.
In reaction to the lawsuit, the Justice Department argued the Emoluments Clause doesn’t explicitly bar “private business pursuits” with CREW responding this was an “extreme view” of the law.

Dozens of companies are proving the value of "trickle down." It hasn't been 5 days since the tax cuts to the Middle Class and Business community were announced, than this happened:
Third Bank and Wells Fargo announce an across-the-board raise to $15 per hour for all entry level positions, AT&T announces a $1,000 bonus to 200,000 of its employees, and Comcast, not to be outdone, announced a $1,000 bonus to 100,000 employees plus a $1.50 per hour raise in some of its offices.
And, to think that if Trump had lost the election, NONE of this would have happened. Make note that ALL of these companies are chaired by Progressive Democrats who are , at the same time, good businessmen.

Polling and history point to a historic Democratic wave coming in the 2018 midterm elections
They can say whatever, the fact remains that the coming mid-term will not be a match for 2010 or 2014 mid-terms won by the GOP. The Dems need to win 26 more seats in the House elections than the GOP to take back House . . . . . . . an admitted "tall" order.
In the Senate, the GOP has to defend 8 seats while the do-nothing Dems must defend 24. Fat chance.
Soon enough, we will know the truth.
Looks like I will be coming home Thursday. Too hard to fight through the painkillers sufficiently to keep up with what is going on.
I am keeping up with the news, however.
Tax bill will pass tomorrow and it is great (for growth). We taxpayers will file in April of 2018 using current tax schedules, but but our 2018 paychecks, month after month, will be drafted using the newly devised schedules. More money in our pockets beginning January 2018. We will know if this tax "re-do" actually works as the GOP claims, soon enough, and I am talking "in just a few weeks."
Update: Today is Wednesday. As you know, the tax bill did not pass yesterday but it will pass today. And I am leaving the hospital Thursday morning. The nation cheers on both counts!!
Serious posting on this blog comes Friday.

Segregationists within the DNC and its media, continue to spread lies about the GOP.
Ellie Smith / ABC News:
Roy Moore win would ‘harken us back to days of segregation’: Alabama congresswoman
Editor: Look, I am not aware of ANY statement coming from Rom Moore that makes me think he is a segregationist. Not one statement. And, for certain, he would have no allies in Congress or in the White House, if he was a segregationist.
Understand that segregation is the foster child of the Democrat party. Democrats led the nation into the Civil War, choosing to fight and die rather than give blacks their freedom. After they lost that war, they continued their opposition via the KKK and Jim Crow laws. Before WW I, the progressive icon/president segregated the military. FDR, another progressive icon, also segregated his military before/during WW II. during all of the 1950's, Democrats continued to forbid free entry into our schools and colleges,
Lyndon Johnson, president after Kennedy, was credited with the Cival Rights Law of 1964. But, for the 20 years before that time, Johnson opposed all efforts at ending discrimination, including Truman's attempt at ending the poll tax.
Ironically, since 1964, the slave masters of the Democrat Party have successfully captured the allegiance of most Black leadership. Today they use character assassination (all of which are lies), and one broken promise after another to keep blacks on the plantation. Democrat leadership in virtually all of larger black populations (L.A., Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, the Hood in New York City) has done little to lift these populations and give them serious opportunities for advancement. Turns out "they" only use the black alliance to win elections. Shameful.
I find no evidence that Roy Moore is a part of any of this, despite the fact that back in his dating days, he was a registered Democrat. At any rate, the GOP is the party of freedom for blacks, making headlines as above, intentionally misleading.

Illegal funding of opposition impeachment plans have come to the surface.
David Brock May Be Illegally Funding An Effort To Impeach Trump
Editor: I doubt that this charge, true or not, will lead to anything in terms of legal penalty. Dems control that process and Brock is a flaming progressive, his claims to being a "conservative" not withstanding.
Even if the Dems take back the House and Senate, I do not see a path to a successful impeachment effort. Not saying they will not try, but I am saying that there will not be the votes necessary to "get the job done."
After 2018, should the GOP loose its hold on Congress, all that lies ahead is "gridlock." Understand this, however, there is not enough attention given to the impact of a booming economy upon the coming election cycles. There is no reason to believe that a "booming economy" will not be a huge factor favoring the GOP. That is why the Dems are fighting GOP success every step of the way. The health of the Democrat Party is more important to these leaders than the health of the nation. Period.

American taxpayers shelled out $220,000 to settle sexual harassment

Trump/Mattis did what Barack was unwilling to do. Hail to the Chief.
Trump, Mattis turn military loose on ISIS, leaving caliphate in tatters...
Iraq just announced all ISIS land under their silly "califate" has been recovered. Barack had no plans to do the same, certainly not in 10 months, proving that his "strategic patience" was nothing more than a liberal pretense at the "proper way to wage war." In fact, Obama once challenged the strategy of "victory," announcing that he did not think "victory" was/is a viable term in today's war climate.
When he pulled away from Syria, when the folks were begging him to stay and fight, he condemned 500,000 to death and another 11 million as refugees, and, came away believing that these loses were "acceptable" in the face of "WW III." What a classless jerk this man was, a loser of epic proportions, a child in the midst of men and a failed world leader standing at the center of a company of blind followers.

Why are the Dems pushing forward with this absurd "investigation?" Here is the answer:
Someone recently asked me, "Why do you fear the Mueller investigation if you think Trump is innocent of any impeachable offenses?" Here is my answer.
For starters, you should remember that Trump is determined to erase the Obama Agenda, one that will lead the U.S. into a one world governance with Belgium as the center of this One World Order (Belgium is, now, the Capital of the 28 nation European Union).
In the year before the election, Barack's women (Rice and Powers and, maybe, Valarie Jarrett) were unmasking people as fast as they could . . . close to 300 names, looking for dirt on Trump and his allies.
At the same time, i.e. all of 2016 and part of 2015, Barack kept secret the Intel warnings that Russia was working to interfere with our elections? He told no one, obviously planning on use this information in precisely the way it is being used, to frame Trump as a secret agent reporting to Putin.
This was all "in the works" long before the election, "just in case" Hillary lost.
Barack and his "mistress," Valarie Jarrett (she lives in the same house as Barack and Michelle), are working behind the scenes to overthrow or defeat Donald Trump, following Trump around the world, undermining his influence with world leaders, and feeding ideas to the "resistance" as these clowns push forward with their plans to subvert the 2016 elections. .
The investigation is dishonest to its core. Recommendations from Mueller for impeachment will not come until just before, or shortly after the 2018 midterms, the Dems hoping to win the midterms and control both houses of Congress. (There is no successful impeachment without control of both the House and the Senate). The impeachment trial will begin on Jan 21, 2019, the day after the new Congress is sworn in. The Dems intend that congress to be under "Democrat" control.
And that, boys and girls, is what lies ahead for those of us who stand for liberty and justice for all. Can anyone say, "Civil War?"

9th Circuit Court judge (another Democrat ultra Progressive) charged with sexual abuse
A former clerk for Judge Alex Kozinski said the powerful and well-known
jurist, who for many years served as chief judge on the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the 9th Circuit, called her into his office several times
and pulled up pornography on his computer, asking if she thought it was
photoshopped or if it aroused her sexually . . . . Heidi Bond, who clerked for Kozinski from 2006 to 2007, said the porn
was not related to any case. One set of images she remembered was of
college-age students at a party where “some people were inexplicably
naked while everyone else was clothed.” Another was a sort of digital
flip book that allowed users to mix and match heads, torsos and legs to
create an image of a naked woman . . . . the judge told the Los Angeles Times, “I don’t remember ever showing
pornographic material to my clerks” and, “If this is all they are able
to dredge up after 35 years, I am not too worried.” . . . . . . . . keep reading here.
This week, Trump derangement syndrome gave us four Media "mistakes" plus 2 disastrous developments within the Mueller investigation.
No one with a sense for fairness can possibly believe that Trump is being treated fairly. Tried and convicted by the Media (as early as the day after Inauguration) and "investigated" by folks within the FBI who are Trump haters (Temp Director, Sally Yate's refusal to obey an order to enforce a legal immigration ban; Assistant Director, Bruce Ohr, cheering her on; Mueller's refusal to come clean on the use of the Steele Dossier (funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign but without FBI penalties) in securing a FICA warrant . . . . and on and on). I say "on and on" with the following six examples of malpractice in mind ~ editor.

2. ABC (Brian Ross) reported that candidate Trump ordered a contact meeting with the Russians. Turns out that president elect made this order, and, suddenly, this hard evidence went the way of the wind. Ross was cut or four weeks without pay.
3. The New York Times falsely reported that K.T.McFarland lied to congress about the Flynn's communications with the Russians. The Times admitted this pathetic bit of reporting.
4. Finally, multiple outlets incorrectly reported that Deutche Bank received a subpoena from Mueller targeting Trump's bank records. Didn't happen.

Washington (CNN)Candidate
Donald Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr. and others in the Trump

The
September 4 email was sent during the final stretch of the 2016

WikiLeaks and Clinton.
"WIKILEAKS: Hillary Clinton Sent THOUSANDS of Classified Cables Marked "(C)" for Confidential," he tweeted, sharing a story from the Gateway Pundit, a conservative, pro-Trump website.
The
email came two months after the hacked emails of the Democratic
National Committee were made public and one month before WikiLeaks began
leaking the contents of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's hacked
emails. It arrived less than three weeks before WikiLeaks itself
messaged Trump Jr. and began an exchange of direct messages on Twitter . . . . . continue reading here.
Current Federal Funds run out on Friday (effecting only 10% of all federal funds).
The take-away in this case (government "shutdown") is that only 10% to 15% of all federal funds are affected in a "shutdown." Social Security and Medicare are not affected. Military pay can be affected. National Parks may be affect . . . . . all depending upon the Presidents priorities. If you remember the last shutdown; Obama cut services that would get the most attention i.e. the most bad press.
Who will get the blame? We don't know, but we do know that Trump believes it will be the Dems. Knowing his track record, many observers believe that Trump will win the blame game. He already has, to an extent. Last week, the Dems issued an ultimatum, one that demanded the inclusion of the Dream Act (DACA). They, then refused to meet with the President and Trump returned fire with a photo op, him seated between two empty chairs, reserved from Nancy and Chuck. This week, they were again invited. And this time, they accepted. They claim that Trump learned his lesson, last week, when, in fact, they were embarrassed and decided to distinguish that fire.
The Hill: The White House budget office is preparing for the possibility of a government shutdown as Republican leaders scramble to reach a funding deal by the end of this week.
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) officials held a conference call with federal agencies on Dec. 1 to ensure that they are planning for a potential funding lapse. Current money runs out midnight on Friday (effecting only 10% of federal funds ~ editor).
Such calls are required exactly one week before funding expires, OMB said, regardless of whether that scenario seems likely or not.
During past calls warning of a shutdown, OMB officials have urged agencies to begin preparing notices to all employees, as well as a list of “essential” employees who would continue working in the event of a shutdown.

former business partner to say an ambitious U.S. collaboration with
Russia
Editor: Too bad all that "collaboration" didn't pan out as Flynn predicted in his text message. The sanctions are on and without a single nuclear plant being built. The question, here, is this: Why believe the whistleblower when nothing to which he testified, actually came true?
Keep in mind that all past presidents in the post WW II era have tried to improve relations with Russia with the exception of Barack, who, before his pledge to be more flexible , simply ignored Russia as a threat to our country, believing that the Russian threat was "so 20th century."
More than this, it is very possible that Flynn didn't text this message as reported by NBC. Time will tell.

Here is what "they" say when a terrific tax bill (always could be better) is passed into law by the opposition:
Recession and death are the results of the GOP tax bill. Let's remember these comments and measure them against reality, a
year from now.

Note: Always listen to YouTube with caution, The Wolke Blitzer wording "We are all going to die"
was not said as a statement against the tax bill. Wolfe was simply quoting other Democrats.

Will the do-nothing Dems go after Trump for recognizing Jerusalem as the captial of Israel?
Here is the problem in opposing the announcement making Jerusalem the recognized capital of Israel: The Dems voted for this very thing in 1995, confirmed that actions in an unanimous vote in the Senate, and, again, just six months ago, supported this same event in a congressional bi-partisan vote. In other words, the Dems are on records supporting the action Trump just announced. But, of course, talking out of both sides of their collective mouth has never stoppped them from speaking out.
What an embarrassment these people have become.

Al Franken is being pressured to quit:
Update: 21 Congressional Democrats including Elizabeth Warren and 12 other women are now calling for the Franken resignation . . . . . I told you so.
Today, six seven congressional women and one male member of congress, are demanding that Franken resign. Don't forget, Conyer swore he would not step down, so, as the process continues, there is doubt as to whether Franken can continue. Understand that Conyer's House seat is safely "Democrat," but Franken's Senate seat . . . . not so much.
And the deterioration of the Democrat Party continues . . . . . makes this old man a happy biker.

Finally, after months and months of stonewalling by our Intel Community, the House is preparing contempt citations. Just another bit of evidence proving the Intel Community's compromised political nature.
House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), who removed
himself from leading the committee’s own Russia probe but not from the
investigation, accused the FBI and the Justice Department of
stonewalling and obstructing the committee’s oversight work.
The FBI and the DOJ have also been stonewalling the committee on documents related to the Trump dossier that are expected to provide key details about the FBI’s involvement with the dossier.
The committee has been seeking answers on whether the FBI used the dossier to obtain surveillance warrants against members of the Trump campaign to launch the FBI’s investigation, or ever paid dossier author Christopher Steele.
On Saturday, Nunes threatened to draft a citation for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray if they did not turn over information by the close of business on Monday.
The FBI and Justice Department then agreed to make some officials available, including Strzok and Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, but still did not turn over requested documents to the committee.
Committee aides will start writing the contempt resolution Tuesday, but there is no date set for the panel to consider it, according to the Examiner. If approved by the committee, it would go to the House, where Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) would have to present it for a vote.

Federal Grand Jury indicts killer of Kate Steinle. Turns out that he might not get off scott free.
Daily Caller: A federal grand jury on Tuesday indicted the illegal immigrant killer of Kate Steinle on gun charges.
Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate admitted to the killing of Steinle in 2015, but said that the gun he found under a San Francisco bench went off accidentally. Last week, a jury found Garcia-Zarate guilty of felony possession, but not murder or involuntary manslaughter.
Garcia-Zarate, 54, will now face federal charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as for being an illegally present alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Editor: Our President included in his 2016 campaign, justice for Kate Steinle. Well, the stinking liberals in San Francisco would not help, so Trump's Justice Department has jumped in to save the day. And, after this clown rots in jail for a few years, he will be deported.
Hail to the man who is hell bent on keeping his campaign promises. At least we know his agenda.
Barack was and is fully committed to a stealth agenda of his creation, and, look how that worked out. Slowest economic recovery in the history of mankind, setting the Middle East on fire and losing the faith of all Middle East partners, totally ignoring the N Korean threat that has become impossible to ignore, taking years and years to "destroy" ISIS with his "strategic patience" do nothing policy, inciting a race war against "whitie" and the cops, leaving the nation with 10 trillion dollars of addition debt, sleeping while his men were dying in Bengahzi, crafting a climate change agreement (the Paris Agreement) that promised an embarrassing .07 decrease in global temps 100 years from now (Genius !!), and, infecting our federal government, at all levels, with a subversive, rebel army that is "stronger and better funded than our military."

Another one bites the dust. How many Democrats have been charged with sexual abuse? I have lost count.
John Parkinson / ABC News:
Nevada Democrat accused of sexual misconduct says he won't resign —
Good grief, what a bunch of predators we have running around Congress, Hollywood, and on Saturday Night Live.
What a joke these people have become. Elect as president and head of their party, a man who couldn't keep his hands off women. And now, look at this party; 90% of all those accused of sexual abuse are members of the open marriage, free love, what a man does in the privacy of his office is none of our business Democrat Party, and, you dare lecture anyone, ever, on morals !!
Hypocrites all and a joke of a party, as well.

Why is Trump moving the Remembassy to the capital of Israel? (Is this a serious question?)
Shibley Telhami / Locking Palestinians …:
Why is Trump undoing decades of U.S. policy on Jerusalem?
The answer to this is rather straight forward. Because it really is none of our business where the Jews locate their capital. They want it to be Jerusalem, so, Jerusalem it is. Trump is only confirming reality. Remember when Barack ran against "nation building?" Then, immediately began his campaign to render Israel a second rate Middle East Power. Let's not forget his threat to expose the size of Israel's nuclear arsenal. Or, his full throated effort to establish Iran as a nuclear threat, in the region.

Put this in large print: Most of us do not care what Roy Moore did 40 years ago, unless, of course, he murdered or raped someone.
Court records suggest Roy Moore dated wife while she was still married
Me, I am wondering what happened to that famous old adage, "What a man does behind closed doors is his own business?" Who thought up that one? Oh, wait a minute, it was the Dems about the time Clinton started watch cigar dances "behind closed doors."
What a joke you people are.

Anyone believe Barack is the most Jewish President in history? I didn't think so.
<<< And how many times have we seen pictures of Obama with a halo, but, of course, he is perfectly normal.
On Tuesday, former Obama advisor David Axelrod informed an Israeli television channel that President Obama considers himself “the closet thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office.” Obama’s deep and abiding connection to Jewish identity is obviously rooted in his ethnic background, connected to Jews via (?); his ideological ties to Jews, such as (?); and a profound connection with the state of Israel as evidenced by (?).
In actuality, Obama is about as Jewish as George Wallace was black. But Obama spouted this drivel in order to whine about his treatment at the hands of commentators who, not having undergone full frontal lobotomies, can identify his animus for the Jewish state. “You know,” he allegedly told Axelrod, “I think I am the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in this office. For people to say that I am anti-Israel, or, even worse, anti-Semitic, it hurts.”
Editor: I would cite more of this article but it presents a mentally ill Head of State so profoundly, that I cannot, in good conscience, continue the story. You can read it here, at Brietbart.

Alan Dershowwitz explains why there is no case for obstruction of justice, at this time:
Scroll down for Diane Feinstein's case for obstruction of justice and you have the context for Dershowitz's comment on our video: "She doesn't know what she is talking about."
Feinstein offers a poorly worded rationale for an obstruction of justice case. See what you think:
Read Feinstein's three or four reasons for believing that an obstruction of justice case is being put together. Keep in mind, that the Left Out Ones got their butts kicked when it comes to "collusion." They are even talking about that nonsense anymore.
Feinstein:
"I think what we see is the putting together of a case of obstruction of justice. I think we see this in the indictments, the four indictments and pleas that have just taken place and some of the comments that are being made; in the hyperphonetic attitude of the White House, the comments everyday, the continual tweets, and, I see it most importantly in the firing of Director Comey."
Think about this: Trump has been "hyperphontic" since 1995, for crying out loud.
The four indictments: Manafort is being charged with money laudering and outright fraud, among other things. He was fired and replaced by Trump with Kellyanne Conway, and his problems have NOTHING TO DO with the stated purposes of the investigation. Flynn, on the other hand, is being charged with lying to the FBI because they couldn't get him for collusion because collusion is not a crime. I mean, how good of a witness can the man be when he is begin prosecuted for "lying" by the very people who want to flip the man.
The comments everyday: Surely she is not talking about the Media's never ending chatter, but what else could Feinstein have had in mind?
Most importantly, the firing of Director Comey: Seriously? If Trump can fire Comey without cause, you can't - logically - get him for obstruction. Besides, Trump never told Comey to stop the investigation on Flynn. He simply as him to go easy on the guy because Flynn is a good man.

Know what the Washington State court, the Hawaiian n court and the 9th Circuit have in common?
Know what the Washington State court, the Hawaiian court and the 9th Circuit have in common?
All three where spanked by the Supreme Court (again) yesterday when the Supreme's handed down a 7-2 decision supporting all of President Trump's immigration ban . . . . . . like we all knew they would. Oh, did I say it was a 7-2 decision?
The Courts will, eventually, get immigration policy correct as it strikes down one open-borders bit of nonsense after another.
And "no," we are not tired of winning.

Trump's lawyer takes the blame.
Trump's lawyer says he was behind President's tweet about firing Flynn
Editor's notes: I don't think many believe Trump's lawyer as he tries to "take the fall" for Trump's most recent tweet. Most of us understand that this is a legal tactic that might be used should Mueller's investigation asks questions. Barack and Hillary have used this tactic on frequent occasions. Doesn't make it "OK" but it does put his rhetoric in political context.
But seriously, is arguing that he (Trump) knew Flynn had lied to his staff, and, therefore, to the FBI, obstruction of justice? So, every time we become aware of a crime having been committed, we are required by law to tell someone in law enforcement? We all know the answer to that question. Look, the Left Out Ones are so desperate to stop Trump from taking down their anti-American legacy, that they will obsess/cling-to anything negative about Trump. In the end, there is nothing there but Trump's tweet and his claim that Flynn was fired for the same reasons he is being investigated by the FBI.
My question is this: Who gives a care ? No body I know . . . . . and that includes my Democrat friends.

Highlights of this coming weeks schedule:
A look at what's on the president's schedule this week:
- Monday: Trump travels to Utah "to announce that he'll shrink the "Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments," sources familiar with the trip confirmed to The Salt Lake Tribune. [understand the "monument" in this case is "acreage or land mass," not a statue. Nearly 80% of Utah is in the Federal Parks system. Enough is enough ~ editor] Two important people have been pushing for this: Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and Orrin Hatch, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee that wrote the Republican Senate tax bill.
- Also on Monday, Trump will meet with Mormon leaders and visit Welfare Square in Salt Lake City, the White House announced. Per an administration source, Mormons are an "important conservative political constituency with whom POTUS underperformed in 2016. There's a large Mormon population in Nevada, so it has swing state implications."
- Tuesday: Trump to have lunch with Republican senators, then in the evening he and Melania will host the Congressional Ball.
- Wednesday: Trump hosts a cabinet meeting and has lunch with VP Pence.
- Friday: Trump meets with Defense Secretary Mattis then travels to Florida for a rally.
