CNN:
Anger mounts over handling of US attorney firings
— Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions has asked for the
resignations of 46 US attorneys, igniting anger from officials who say
they were given no warning about their dismissals. — The Justice
Department announced the firings Friday afternoon
Notes: Friday, A.G. Sessions asked for the resignations of 46 Obama appointed Justice Department attorneys. Contrary to CNN's reporting, there is nothing unusual about this process; Clinton, Bush and Obama all fired many in the Justice Department.
CNN wants its readers/viewers to believe that the dismissals came without warning, in spite of the fact that Jeff Sessions has been A.G for four weeks. His approval as A.G. was warning enough. It is a lie to suggest otherwise.
House cleaning has been the case at State and with the EPA; why not at Justice.
My advice? Let's all just stop going to CNN for any of the news. Understand that it is not a "free press" if it is a partisan press.
