William Kristol / Weekly Standard:
Dump Trump, Now More Than Ever
Fantasy "solutions" run rampant within the GOP intellectual class, which proves just how smart they are (?). Billy Kristol is a favorite of mine, but a serious disappointment, at the same time.
Understand this, and accept the following: There is no path to "dump Trump." You can divide the Party and work to defeat his election attempts, but many of you have already committed to that notion, all in the name of your stinking principles. Me? I have only one 2016 election cycle principle and that is the defeat of Hillary Clinton. Glenn Beck, Bill Kristol, Jeb Bush and his family, the last loser, Mitt Romney, and on and on, camp on their "principles," forgetting that none of those lofty ideals mean anything if Hillary wins and we lose the Senate.
There is no alternative to this forensic conclusion. None. Turns out, stupidity is not an isolated defect within the Liberal community. And it is stupid to believe that Hillary is the only reasonable preference in this election.
Understand this: Trump can get nothing done, as President, without the help of his GOP Party. So, what is the real issue at play with regard to a Trump presidency? Answer: The fact that he does not believe in the same old same old. He wants to change the demographics of the GOP; bring in more blacks and Hispanics and give place to the Gay community. He does not want large trade deals. Instead, he wants one-on-one deals with our several trade partners. He wants to kill ISIS. He wants to defeat those who would murder our cops and inner-city families. He wants real change.
He has a blue-collar mouth, but his policies are in the right place. Just read what he has published as to policy. You will approve. Seriously, You will approve.
We are going to have to surrender our embarrassment as to his candidacy, in the hopes of him being the kind of president to which he claims aspirations. The alternative? A European Globalist and a serial rapist.
Sorry, I will take the mouth over the globalist any day, every time. See you at the polls.
