Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Democrats switching sides in droves in the swing state of Pennsylvania.
You may be encouraged with this report: This morning, Fox News reports that 243,139 Democrats have changed their party's affiliation since 2015, in order to vote for Trump, 97,607 since the beginning of 2016. (These numbers come from the Pennsylvania Department of State). The reason given? When we look at where this race is today, the Presidential race is effectively over. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States. Chuck Schumer will be the Majority Leader of the United States Senate.
ReplyDeleteAnd the only question that's still up in the air is how close the Democrats will come to retaking the House Majority. What this exposes, though, is much deeper and it goes to the Republican Party as an institution. This candidacy, the magnitude of its disgrace to the country is almost impossible, I think, to articulate. But it has exposed the intellectual rot in the Republican Party. It has exposed at a massive level the hypocrisy, the modern day money changers in the temple like Jerry Falwell Jr. And so, this party, to go forward and to represent a conservative vision for America, has great soul searching to do. And what we've seen and the danger for all of these candidates is over the course of the last year, these, these candidates who have repeatedly put their party ahead of their country, denying what is so obviously clear to anybody who's watching about his complete and total manifest unfitness for this office.

So says Steve Schmidt, an anti-populace, anti-nationalist, pro-Establishment, pro Big Money Progressive Republican. What is "denying what is so obviously clear" is the downfall of the US Military, the sharp turn toward globalism and the surrender of US sovereignty to the Central Government in Belgium. What is painfully obvious is that the most corrupt national leader of our time is aboput to become president, if we are to believe all those polls, heavily weighted with Democrats (as many as 28% more Democrats in a given NBC poll to give Hillary an 11 point lead).
DeleteYou uphold the example of complicity in the "the intellectual rot in the Republican Party."
DeleteIf you're so confident, why did you renege on our bet? No honor.
You need to see a psych doctor that memory problem you have. When I reinstated the bet, I made it clear that you were not going to insult me with your made up crap. Why did I cancel? I have a rule: I never make deals with folks who can't control their trash talking mouths. I made that clear and you continued to run your mouth. I finally got tired of it. You called me 7 different kinds of ass-wipe and you expect me to "pay up?" Go to hell and do something about. Piss ant.
