"Proud to be an American" has fallen 26% since to 2004 and the trend is downward.

My family did not celebrate the July 4th,  for the first time in my 71 years of life.  The idea of America was/is great,  and served all of us well,  for 240 years.  But,  today,  the nation has been taken over by those who have no imagination,  no since of national loyalty, and no ability to think outside the Marxist box.  They hate the military, use our soldiers a pawns, do not believe that we have "enemies,"  believe in the "common humanity" of man, and, stands behind the idiocy of  "love and compassion" as tools to defeat ISIS and the Taliban.  They no longer believe in free speech, "states rights," the freedom of the press,  or the freedom of religious expression.  They actually think that playing dress-up (men pretending to be women) is a civil rights issue.  They believe that taking guns away from law abiding citizens will solve the gun violence issues we have in this country. In fact,  they no longer believe that "congress" is necessary.  Their president is no different than a third world dictator. They no longer believe an immigrant should pledge allegiance to our country or learn our language.   Finally, and, to put a cap on their collective stupidity.  they accept Shira Law in spite of the fact that said law orders the death of gays, rebelious children, and women who have been raped.
