Did you know there was a freeze on immigration from 1924 to 1965 !!!

We suspended immigration for 41 years. There is no constitutional demand for immigration. The freeze gave our immigrant community time to assimilate into the population. Understand that when immigration is at current rates, there is no chance for assimilation.

At any rate, Trump's call for a freeze is hardly "unAmerican" or out of line with our values and principles.
