Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who formerly backed fellow Texan Sen. Ted Cruz told CNN Thursday that he endorses Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
This was announced on “Out Front” by CNN’s Dana Bash, who added that the former presidential hopeful told her that he’d do what he could to help him into the White House.
“Rick Perry just told me in a phone call from his home state of Texas that he does support Donald Trump and he’s going to do everything he can to help Donald Trump get elected,” Bash said. “He said that he believes in the process, and the process meaning the voters inside the Republican electorate clearly said Donald Trump should be the guy, and he is going to follow that process.”

Who cares if Perry backs Trump. Perry is a loser, failure, has been.
1) an unprecedented number of Republicans are not supporting Trump, including Paul Ryan
2) Obama's approval continues above 50% - higher than Reagan's at the same point in his presidency:

3) Trump's 'white identity politics' appeal to mostly less educated white males... can't win on that.
