Update #4 11 pm - There are only two suspects, it appears. The two were married, Muslim. Their home was a IED facility, according to the Joint Terrorism Task Force. They were dressed in combat gear, had legally purchased long guns with illegal 30 round clips. The man, Syed Farook, attended a meeting where the murders occurred, left and returned with his wife, and began the murders. There are elements of a Islamic terror attack as well as elements of "work place violence." They were wearing "go-pro" cameras at the time of the killings. The two had a child, which was intentionally orphaned by the two suspects . . . . not your typical work place violence scenario. Lots of questions. (see our updates on this event, here).
Update #3 - 12:09pm - there are three shooters and none are in custody, an hour after this event began.

Mass shooting in San Bernardino (east of L.A.) began 45 minutes ago. Initial report: 12 dead and 20 injured. That will change. Pray.
If this is terrorism, that is one thing; we know what must be done to prevent this sort of thing. If this is a lone shooter, well, we really have no way of preventing this kind of event.
Note to those who will flood my comment box -- no comments will be post that put the blame for this on either the GOP or Democrat policies.
Police are looking for a black SUV with three men (the shooters) that has reportedly left the scene . . . . non of this is confirmed. Police reports tell us that the men were wearing masks and body armor. If true, this is not a shooting by a nutcase or angry ex-employee.
obviously yet another right wing terrorist, you know ... the gun nuts
ReplyDeleteYou are quite the ass. It is 7 pm here in California. One of the three (maybe 5) suspects has a middle eastern name and the FBI has been involved in a very big way. The FBI does not get involved in local shooting matters, but they are in San Bernardino which gives rise to the possibility that this jihad at some level. Now, if it is Islamic terror, we all know that Muslims vote "Democrat," so, should I start blaming Hillary and Barack Hussein or Chuck Scfhumer or maybe, blame your dumb ass? Now, it could be work place violence, but we just don't know.
DeleteHow do you justify the GOP blocking efforts to deny gun sales to those on the no-fly list, and also research on gun violence? Answer.

We have plenty of research on gun violence. We do not need to spend another dime in that effort.
DeleteSecondly, to be put on a no fly list does not mean you are a criminal, a nut case, or someone who would fail a security check for gun ownership. Maybe you told someone at the airport, "Don't touch my junk." Maybe your name is the same as someone on a no fly list. Maybe the bill was attached to something, legislatively, that the GOP actually did not support. For sure, this has not been a problem before (allowing permits for people on a no fly list).
