Morning News Stories: You will see these stories throughout today, August 5, 2015.

Washington Post:
FBI looking into the security of Hillary Clinton's private e-mail setup  —  Hillary Rodham Clinton has said that the private e-mail server she used as secretary of state “had numerous safeguards.  It was on property guarded by the Secret Service.  And there were no security breaches.”

Editor's notes:  This may be the lead story of the day,  if not the Fox Debates.  It is significant that Obama's DOJ has asked the FBI to investigate.

Fox News:
Fox News announces candidate line-up for prime-time debate  —  Fox News has announced the line-up for the prime-time Republican presidential debate this Thursday, and here's who qualified:  —  Real estate magnate Donald Trump; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker …

Editor's notes: Perry failed to make the top ten,  as did Carly Fiorina,  a favorite of this editor.  John Kasich's inclusion in the top ten,  is note worthy,  in view of his late entry into the race.  He has been called a "bleeding heart conservative,"  and that may count for something.   We will find out beginning Thursday,  5:50 pm pt.  (Those who did not make the primetime slot,  will debate beginning around 2 pm, pt.).

Julian Hattem / The Hill:
Highest-ranking Jewish House Democrat opposes Iran deal  —  The highest-ranking Jewish Democrat in the House announced his opposition to the nuclear accord with Iran on Tuesday, in a blow to the Obama administration's lobbying efforts.  —  “I'm going to vote against the Iran deal,” …

Editor's notes:  Congress has 90 days to make its decision.  A lot can happen during that time,  and most of it is not good for the Administration.

  1. Sanders beats Walker by six to seven points, depending on whether all voters or likely voters are counted -- a near-landslide margin

    1. I assume the above comment came from Tennessee B, I would have posted this sooner, but I was laughing too hard to get it done. Sanders beats Walker !!!! Wow. I think you were just trying to mess up my day.

One more thing -- just to be clear: I think a national ranking and a PhD in any field of music are profound accomplishments. I could ask, "Do you play in your short shorts," but that would be me messing with you . . . . . . and I think the "short shorts" reference gets under your skin, so I will leave it alone.

    2. I will proudly wear the USA Olympic uniform supplied to me by USA Track and Field when I compete at the World Championships this weekend. If the tights are too short for you, complain to the US Olympic Committee and Nike.

    3. You really don't read with a view to comprehension and I am tired of your accusatory attitude when responding with me. You wanted me to treat you with "respect." And when I clearly made the effort, you respond with a put down. Go to hell. I am done with your stupidity and empty headed partisanship.

    4. You are about the last person I would desire any respect from.

    5. Then stop whining about deserving respect. Good thing you can run fast. Probably had a lot reason in high school what with those short shorts and all. Just be glad you do not live next door to me.
