An open letter to Sarah Palin: It is time for you to run.

Dear Governor,

You have nothing to fear in running on the chance that you will not be successful   . . . . . . .  this time.  Romney is in his third term as "candidate Romney."   Reagan won on his third attempt.  You,  Sarah,  are young enough to risk failure for the sake of ultimate success.

And this candidacy of yours?  Make it about changing the face of the GOP as you give this Once Great Nation a good natured but serious "wake-up" call,  and you can't lose,  even if the nomination is not yours.

There is no one who has followed you since the Daze of McCain,  that does not know of your political instincts.  There is no one I know,  who does not have the highest confidence in your ability to endear yourself to those who will listen.  A Palin Campaign would afford opportunity to force the doubters to listen.

Folksy is your M.O.  But a "deadly serious Sarah Palin" can come naturally to you as well . . . . . . . . .   and that is a winning demeanor for you, in my opinion.     But my free advise withstanding and no matter how you present yourself,   I say,  it is time to enter the primaries and begin a campaign that might take years to complete.  Understand this, my dear,  it is in the primary season that you will have a place on the stage and a chance to debate your ideas with those who think they need to manipulate the populace into voting for them.  A straight up,  honest,  discussion of ideas is what we all need  . . .    and no one can do that better than you.

I am an old man with a daughter that will be 49,  this year.  So consider this a little "fatherly advise."  You should know that this old man was a wrestling coach for 35 years,  teaching young men and women how to fight and fight to win.  There were times,  lots of times,  Sarah, when doubts and fears threatened to "take my wrestler out"  of the competition.  There were times when their fears were justified,  but they had to fight,  anyway.  It was their time on the mat, their future was now,  and ready or not,  they had to fight.    My advise to them,  in the face of possible defeat?  "Don't just fight to win.  See if you can't  ruin their day,  and in so doing,  you just might win." That is how you fight a bully  . .   that is how you put yourself in a position to defeat a bully.

If nothing else,  take the fight to "them."  You will have more support than you can imagine.  We will support you,  but you should know this:  there are millions out here in Conservative Land,  who need your support, as well.

Run,  Sarah Palin (and family).  Run before the movement draws back into its  hiding place.  Run, baby,  run !!!

My promise if you do run:  I will tell the doubters I know, "Just listen to the woman and tell me what part of her concerns for this nation are not a part of your concerns?  Just listen and then decide."   I will tell you this,  I can talk "them" into listening.  But it will do no good,  if there are no words to hear.

Again I say,  suck it up and "Run, baby, run."

  1. Just to be clear. I have already gotten several emails about Sarah . . . . . all of them pure trash from people who have no clue what they are talking about. I mean, it is a great fantasy of the Left, that Palin is less intelligent than Biden, or Pelois (for gawd sake) or the man who did not know how many states there were in the Union, or how to pronounce "corps" or thought giving away electric golf carts would kick-start the electric revolution, or actually thought lying about al Qaeda or ObamaCare would never come back on him, or pretending he is relevant to a free society, or announcing that he was leaving "an Iraq that was strong, stable and sovereign," or calling ISIS "JV," or telling us, just last September, that Somalia and Yemen were examples of his success in the war on terror. I mean, exactly how stupid does a person have to be before some admit to his stupidity? Anyway, the point is this: no BS on Palin is allowed. The above "Go Sarah" was probably written by someone who wants her run because she appears to be sooooooo beatable. But, because I can't prove the insult, it is allowed.

  3. Make note: I have edited this post by "Anonymous" to exclude comments he made about Sarah Palin. Absolutely no negatives are allowed on this blog, concerning this hero of the Conservative Movement. The main point of his comment, however, was not about Palin but to reference an article, written by a man who is both an anti-colonialist (i.e. a hater of the American revolutionary tradition) and an anarchist to the core; a man who is a secular or existential Christian, having evolved from the cesspool that is the Harvard Divinity School.

You will find the article to be rather comprehensive in its rant against this Once Great Nation. There is no aspect of this article that has not been addressed on this blog, so I will give you the link, and you can decide for yourselves:
