Gallup's 3 day rolling average gives Obama a 38/39 percent approval rating.

What is most encouraging to this observer is the fact that Obama cannot talk himself into a ratings "bump."  Since the fraudulent election of 2012 (Al Qaeda is dead and GM is alive),  Obama's approval numbers have been on a steady decline.  More than this,  according to Gallup, here,  beginning with October of 2013,  his trend line has reached a nominal "bottom"  as to his approval rating.  During this 12 month cycle,  those approval numbers have never risen above 45%;  the last two polling cycles being 38% and,  most recently, 39%.

If you believe that everything this man does is geared to empowering him, politically,  you can understand just how much political trouble he is in.

During the past 12 months,  his promised threats have included the use of his pen and his phone,  executive amnesty,  promises to deal with the faux issue of women's pay inequality,  lowering the cost of college education,  and announcing a world at peace, a Middle East that is stable, and an Iraqi that is strong and sovereign.

None of these claims,  all announced during some sort of presser or televised presentation, have become proven realities,  and,  more importantly,  none of them have translated into in a ratings "bump" for Obama.  In past times,  his promises came with an increase in enthusiasm for his presidency.  That is no longer the case.

What does this mean?  The answer to that question is more than obvious:  his words mean nothing to the majority of Americans.  He talked his way into politics and the High Office,  a man without ANY vital/practical experience.  Words were all that he had and when they failed,  his presidency went down.

I believe he has been a Lame Duck since July of 2010 and the signing of the Dobb/Frank finance bill.  Nothing of legislative consequence has passed through congress,  since that time.  But,  certainly,  since October of 2013,  his irrelevancy as a leader,  both at home and in the world, has become an a demonstrable reality.

Incredibly, Obama has had more legislative opportunity than any president since FDR.  He could have passed full blown amnesty, a comprehensive climate change law, forced union membership (called "card check"), and more,   without opposition,  anytime during 2009 or 2010.  Instead,  he turned the legislative process over to the Bobbsy Twins,  Pelosi and Reid,  and spent each of those two years making 700 personal appearances and speeches and  playing golf.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind  . . . . . that is his reality in these last days.  He is a defeated president with few allies at home and no political clout in the larger, evil world.

Certainly,  he can continue to do much harm to our nation,  but the legislative opportunities of 2009 and 2010 are forever gone and the changes he will effect,  all via executive order and regulation,  are temporary;  all can be changed or amended by the next president and without the need for legislation.  "Fundamental transformation" did not happen and is no longer possible.  Understand this:  "change" is not transformation,  and temporary change via executive order or regulatory dictate,  is not fundamental transformation.
