This election cycle will not see a large turnout for the youngest voting block in the country, the 18 to 29 year old.

The poll below,  taken from YouGov/Economist ,will be used to make a number of points.  For me,  what is most notable is the opinion of the 18-29 year old constituency.  In general terms,  they see this president as a weak leader.  Understand that this is the college age crowd,  and Obama has done precious little for them.   Fewer jobs than at anytime in the past three decades,  increasing college costs, and increasing concern about a world that is spinning out of control,  all have combined to move this youngest generation of voters away from both Obama and politics,  in general.  Turns out,  we are all waiting for a leader.  Clearly,  Obama is no longer perceived as "the one we have been waiting for."
