corruption existing at the DOJ as it works with impunity with the likes of one
of the most prolific political hacks of all time, Elijah Cummings. Understand that if the GOP wins the
Senate, there could very well be real
investigation of the IRS scandal.
Clearly, Obama has weaponized various federal agencies (EPA, DOJ, IRS, ATF to name a few).
Opposition
to this Administration is no longer about the Left versus the Right. That debate left the station back in
2009. The fact of the matter is this: it is corrupt to its ethical core, cannot be trusted to enforce or obey
law, especially newly past law which it
rewrites on every occasion it deems necessary,
and is committed to an opaque “transformation” of our political
system, the likes of which have never
been seen before.

(Excerpt from The Hill article: The administration official calling House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa’s (R-Calif.) office last week had an odd request.

After Issa spokesman Frederick Hill replied that Oversight Committee staffers would have to examine those documents first, the line went silent, and Fallon placed the call on hold for three minutes.
When he returned to the line, Fallon was “audibly shaken,” according to an account of the conversation that Issa recounts in a letter sent to Holder.
The Justice official then said there had been a “change in plans,” that no documents would be released on Friday and that the main reason for the call was to seek a thaw in relations between the department and Oversight Republicans.
Issa said it’s clear that the Justice official meant to call Democratic staff and argued the mix-up is proof that President Obama’s administration and Cummings have been collaborating to “prejudice the committee’s work through under-the-table coordination.”
“This highly partisan and combative approach to oversight by the department shows a disregard for the independent investigatory prerogatives of Congress and a deliberate attempt to influence the course of a congressional investigation,” Issa wrote to Holder, adding that it was “unseemly” for the department to favor one party over the other when it came to sharing information.
The documents, Issa added in the letter, are about Andrew Strelka, a former Justice attorney that once worked for Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official at the center of the Tea Party controversy.
Issa’s letter does not name the administration official or the three members of his own staff that were on the call on Friday. But Fallon acknowledged Tuesday that he spoke last week with Hill, a longtime Issa aide — an account also confirmed by a congressional aide.

ReplyDeleteIt is sadly humorous to me, that a man (?) who claims to be well educated (a PhD in . . . . . ah . . . . . . business administration ?) can be so blind to what is happening all around him. It is your political movement (the Utopian/World Without Borders) that is failing and in the most demonstrable of ways, yet y ou continue to deny that fact.

It is your guys (Biden and Obama) who claimed Iraq as stable, sovereign and strong, took credit for that fact cheating Bush of any recognition in that effort when the victory was ALL his doing, and now own the mess that Iraq has become, owning it because they took credit for it and claimed that war to have been a success . . . . . your guys did this. It is the fat-ass Michael Moore, who told us, three days ago, that H Obama is a huge disappointment and will be remembered only because he was the first black president . . . . . . . . and Moore is one of your heroes. It is people within YOUR party (Barney Frank and Diana Feinstein to name two and there are dozens) who have complained about the Obama lies with regard to ObamaCare. It is YOUR polling hero, Nate Silver, who is forecasting a wave election that could give the GOP 6 to 11 seats in the Senate. Whether or not that happens, it is YOUR guys who are saying this (Silvers, NBC and ABC News, the WaPost etc.). It is YOUR media who has complained the most about the DOJ tageting scandal against the press and the spying into the American press. It is YOUR heroes who are furious with Obama's decision to go back into Iraq. And it was your DOJ who stupidly included Issa's office in the call to Cummings about spinning the IRS scandal.
You say "no one cares." Funny, about 70% of this nation thinks Obama is incompetent and untrustworhy. Right or wrong, it is my side who is winning the debate . . . . . . but keep believing that your warmongering, drone killing, GITMO is still open, I will do immigration latter, Afghan losing president is on the right track.

I guess 'your' movement must be quite the opposite... isolationist America, as much occupation of foreign countries and war as possible, no immigration, ethnic and religious purity, christian theocracy, gays illegal, one party male rule .... something like that? That is what Smithson stands for, quite the patriot.
Of course you know what I am talking about. If not, keep your eye on the NY Times, or, as Obama puts it, "his top secret intel source for what's happening now." The world has blown up in your freaking face, dude, and on a certain level, it is hilarious. All you can do it point to Bush and talk about the past and rewrite American history. Me? I just go to YOUR sources and comment on their reporting.
