A brief tutorial on Christian protests in a hostile world . . . . here in the Land of the Free.

Time to switch to Google Chrome. We (in our family) are taking down all Mozilla Firefox browser features in our computers. The Left wants to play hard ball, time we return the favor, short of violence, of course . . . . .   in spite of the fact that the Left sponsors and drives both anarchy and physical violence.

Biblical response? Absolutely, i.e. Christ in the temple  (He threw the money changers out of the time,  including their tables and product, if you are not familiar with the biblical account).   Why was that a correct response? Because society allowed it. We are allowed to protest, to boycott, to refuse service in some cases.  As Christians,  we are NOT required to lay down and die because evil gives us the order. Christianity would have never gotten off "first base" if the martyrs had all been socially compliant. You have to guard against hatred. Leave that to the domain of the Leftist/World Without Borders Crowd. But we have to be smart about how we protest.

Two examples:

I still perform weddings, once in a blue moon. Can I refuse to marry a gay couple? Not legally. So I won't . . . . . . but I sure can counsel them as to moral conduct, group sex, and perversion., as long as I present both sides of the issue. They want to listen to all that, fine. That counseling could take weeks or months. If they really love each other, they will wait until I am finished with my counseling. We do the ceremony and everyone is happy, no?

If I owned a wedding cake business, I would no longer sell figurines - hetero or homosexual. They don't want the cake without a figurine, they can eat pie. And it is all legal. We Christians need to start using our imagination a little, instead of whining about the evil world we live in.

If you missed the news on Mozilla and its anti-free speech decisions,  click on this link and get updated.  An absolute disgrace,  and Obama is just sitting around on his skinny butt,  doing nothing about this injustice.  Why?  Obviously,  it is because he agrees.  "Protected speech" to his anti-American fraud,  is "correct speech,"  and the likes of H Obama are the ones who,  now,  determine what "correct speech" is.  Don't like the 1st amendment?  Get out of this country.  It is not yours  . . . . . .   period.  Here is that link:  http://www.maggiesnotebook.com/2014/04/irs-leaks-mozilla-ceo-brendan-eichs-donation-to-anti-gay-marriage-we-live-in-venezuela-cuba-china-now/

  1. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just. [Luke 14:13 &14.]

If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. [Matthew 19:21]

You cannot serve both God and Money. [Matthew 6:24.]

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
    [1 Timothy 6:10,11]

Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
    (Proverbs 23:4,5)

He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
    (Proverbs 28:8)

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
    (Psalm 37:21)

A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
    (Proverbs 28:20)

What would Jesus think of Republicans targeting the poorest and weakest among us by cutting funding for community health centers, heating for the poor, foodstamps, and medicare while fighting tooth and nail to protect tax cuts for the most weathy?

During the election, Republicans lied through their teeth - accusing the Democrats of wanting to cut Medicare and SS. Now look at the hypocrites... planning to phase out Medicare for those under 55, cutting programs for the poor and elderly while fighting to preserve a tax cut for the wealthiest Americans.

A little history: Note the titles given to these Bush tax cuts for corporations and the rich:

Cut #1: Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001
Cut #2: Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003
Cut #3: Tax Increase Prevention and Reconciliation Act of 2005

Well guess what? There was NO economic growth and the worst job creation of any modern presidency. The Republican fantasy of trickle down has a proven record of failure, yet they keep sticking to it because of their puppet masters and their innate mental predispostion of not being able to adapt.

JESUS WAS CLEARLY A LIBERAL SOCIALIST.

  2. Jesus was a religious leader, not a politician. He has been rejected by atheists such as yourself, years ago. As far as cutting Medicare, Dems are cutting Medicare Advantage. They are not just cutting the program, they are eliminating the program, taking money out of Medicare Advantage and from the senior citizen to help pay for ObamaCare. THAT is a fact. This is in addition to the 700 million Obama stole from Medicare before the elections in 2012.

No one was talking about "phasing out Medicare for those under 55." No one. There was always going to be a choice between private investments and Medicare, which owes itself 42 trillion dollars. Do you understand the words "42 trillion?" Do you not know this means the program is broke?
