<<< Jimmy Kimmel and Conan, liberal comics, no doubt, are much more balanced than Letterman, and the opening days of Fallon. In fact, Jon Stewart is fairly balanced, as well and not angry as is the case with Letterman.
But "late night" has experienced a sea-change in terms of generational comedy. With Leno's exit, my generation is out, and the next generation has taken the reins. No complaints from me, but I have no intentions of listening to anyone who has no respect for my point of view or serves as a political advertisement for the Marxist left. Letterman is a punk, for that reason, as are the Obama's. The rest? Well, I can live with them.
Dave Chappell (now retired but we still have his reruns) is my favorite comedian, foul mouth and all. He bashes the cracker as often as he makes fun of blacks . . . . . funny guy. George Carlin was another very funny guy and politically fair with his comedy. But, there were lots of great humor, back in the day.
