Have we offered "amnesty" in giving folks a 7 to 10 year path to citizenship, asking for a $5000 fine, having them stand in the back of the line (for citizenship) but allowing them a work permit while refusing them a vote until their citizenship requirements are fulfilled? Just asking.

Amnesty: The next GOP leadership betrayal
Michael R. Shannon believes that the House GOP is about to cave on yet another issue -- this time granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants

Editor's notes:  I understand that if you give these folks the concessions mentioned in my headline,  the Dems can then move to give them the vote sooner rather than later.  Of course,  "comprehensive immigration" is all about "getting the Democrat,  lying,  cheating,  foot in the door," as they seek to enlist more and more votes in their effort at establishing One Party Rule,  in this country.   But, we need not concede this potential outcome in dealing with the problem.

There are more than 11 million "illegals" in this country,  many with families and (born American) children.  Rounding them up and sending them home,  is not a solution  -  that will never happen.  In fact,  although a dyed in the wool conservative,  I will not support any effort to deport the folks who have lived in my neighborhood for decades.  I am not suggesting that the Democrats have the solution,  but sending them "home" is not even close to a practical resolution.

  1. Who is MOST responsible for letting illegals in in the first place? GW Bush. Up to 20 million during his administration.

Under Obama, even elite talented educated college grads that are not from the US are having to pay lawyers $10k just to be able to extend their visas to stay in America, despite their enormous potential to contribute to this country.

  2. What a load of crap. There never were "20 million" illegals in this country, because, today, the estimate is around 11 million and that other 10 million certainly did not "go home." So, all we have here, is more of your BS statistics, made up numbers just to make your point. Our border agents and their unions all complain that under Obama, they are not allowed to do their job. But your comments have nothing to do with my post. They never do. I am thinking that you do not have the ability to comprehend what you read. No wonder you are down to posting every two or three months - in your blog. Heck, it probably takes you that long to figure out what you have read in your source materials.
