Our national debt is headed "off the chart." Democrat's solution? Draw a larger chart..

We have run a deficit nearly from the beginning of this nation,  but until WW II,  that debt was difficult to represent on a chart.  But,  after the war,  the national debt charted in noticeable terms,  and in or just after 1980,  our debt began to grown exponentially.  By midterm in the Bush years,  that growth was in a sharp upward trajectory,  Bush 43 growing the debt by 4 trillion dollars in eight years.  Obama,  by contrast,  has grown the national debt,  another 6 trillion is just 4 years. In fact,  our debt total now more than equals all the good and services this nation produces  (GDP) in a single year.

What is sad about this circumstance is this:  the Dems believe that all government spending is stimulus and see no reason to bring our debt under control.  In fact,  Obama claimed,  last week,  that increasing the debt ceiling "does not increase the debt."  But,  of course,  raising the debt ceiling allows for increased debt,  and that is something Obama did not mention.  There is no doubt that he and his social justice buds, intend to spend as much money as they can get their hands on  . . . . . . . . . . .   by hook or crook.
