Lies and pretense versus the truth from the Right source; this time it involves Fox News and its competitors in the pretend world of journalism.

Monday night,  Fox New began its new programming season with a format that is the first change to that network in 11 years.  The biggest change,  was the addition of Megyn Kelly into the 6 pm (PT) time slot.  Her show,  the Kelly Files,  beat out CNN’s Piers Morgan and MSNBC’S Rachel Maddow’s combined total viewership for  the evening,  which leads me to the following comments:

Life as a liberal has to be most frustrating.  They cannot deal with issues,  in a national debate forum,  so they name-call,  are persistent with their character assassination tactics,  and their political theory is little more than a comprehensive scatological/socialist fantasy.

Case in point (there are so many):  the latest celebration of the decline and fall of Fox News.  The latest such example is taken from the Daily Kos,  a far left but popular publication that gives us this account of the first day of the  new season for Fox News.

From the Daily Kos:   Last night Fox News debuted a new primetime lineup. It was the first time they had altered their schedule in more than a decade. They heavily promoted the changes and the new hosts for weeks. And on the the big night, when most new programs enjoy a ratings bump due to viewers sampling the new fare, Fox News did not get what they must have been expecting.

The top billing for the night went to Megyn Kelly, whose "Kelly File" has been eagerly anticipated by Foxophiles and received massive PR in advance of the debut. Unfortunately for her, she came in second to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow in the key 25-54 year old demographic.

Indeed,  Maddow beat Kelly with the 18-54 demographic by 10,000 but Megyn Kelly’s total for the night versus Maddow’s was 2.1 million to 900,000 viewers.

The Kos article goes on to frame defeat for Fox News compared to CNN and the radicalized MSNBC viewership for the night,  when,  in point of fact,  Fox out performed the two Obama networks,   scoring more viewers  for the evening than CNN and MS, combined.

Understand this:  the libs have suffered a serious butt kicking in cable media for more than a decade.  In fact,  this long period of "defeat" for the Left,  proves that these outsources are not offering what the majority of the nation wants to hear.  We are a center-Right nation and continue to be so,  despite the re-election of Obama.

You can compare this post and the Kos lie with the summary report in Variety,  hardly a right-wing supporting publication. In Variety,  numbers and context are put in order.
