Paul said Republicans still expect members to fight the law,
which national polls show only about a third of Americans support.
"I'm acknowledging we can't probably defeat or get rid
of Obamacare," he said. "But by starting with our position of not
funding it, maybe we get to a position where we make it less bad." Read the full account at BigStory.ap.org.
Editor's notes: Conservatives can make this admission, but we certainly should never give credit to Obama for "fundamentally transforming" this country. He has taken Progressive Socialist theory and expanded on it, but he has no original ideas and has done nothing that has, ultimately, succeeded. ObamaCare, after implementation, will have insured no more Americans than before, but will have initiated the largest tax increase on the Middle Class in the history of this county. His executive orders are all wholly reversible since they do not bear the force of legislative law; his thoughtless restrictions on coal producers, ordering heavy regulations through the EPA on that industry before any alternatives have been put in place, again only punishes the working poor and the Middle Class and accomplishes nothing as to the prevention of global warming . . . . . nothing. His legislation via Dodd/Frank does not prevent "too big to fail," and, in fact, is not fully written three years after being signed into law.
