WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama said
he has decided he should order limited military strikes against Syria, but
in a move laden with political and diplomatic implications, he also agreed in
an about-face to solicit authorization for the mission from Congress. . . . .
. (a storyline from the WSJ)
Editor's
notes: And with this decision, Obama, one of the most
effective political strategists in American history, has decided to run
and hide behind whatever Congress decides to do, as he struggles with the
nonsense of his "red line" statement.
Understand that Obama has a 5 year history of thumbing his nose in the face of Congress. As late as the past several days of this week, Obama maintained his right to act without congressional approval. But, faced with the unanimity that is military opposition to his proposed bombing of Syria, Obama has decided to forfeit his function as the nation’s first Imperial President, preferring instead, to allow Congress to take the blame for his inaction and thoughtless rhetoric.

That is what is going on,
here.
Before this day was over (Saturday, the 31 of August), the Syrian regime and its supporters were declaring victory, having stared Obama in the eyes, and forced his hand. Literally, thousands of Syrians are dancing in the streets, laughing at our President. So much for the “red line.” So much for the leadership of the once great United States of America.
But, we now have another problem,
however. Obama has set a red line
around the manufacture of nuclear weaponry by Iran. When he took office, Iran had 3,000 centrifuges to their
credit. Today, five years into his presidency, and, because of his do nothing international
policy in the Middle East, this nation (Iran) of Jihadists has produced more than 15,000 centrifuges; somewhere around 20,000 is needed for the
development of a bomb.
How does Israel see Obama’s diplomatic cowardice and
timidity, in the face of this Syrian
diplomatic victory? Are they now
convinced that they are dealing with a man, in Obama, who will ultimately watch the destruction
of Israel rather than take the risk, and
get tough with Iran? He (Obama) has plenty
within his party who have publicly declared their lack of concern for the future safety of Israel. Will he bend to their voices?
History is a very predictable matter, if one takes the time to marry rhetoric to
historical realities. I am saying, we already know what Obama would [not]
do, as relates to the Iranian threat . . . . . . . exactly what he has been doing
for the past five years.
Israel, be afraid, be very afraid. You are alone in a world of full of bullies, perverted infidels, head hunting cowards and religious bigotry.
