Understand that Bush got the approval of Congress, the
UN, and secured the support of 49 countries in the international
community before moving into Iraq. The over-all process took 14 months and was in response to the existence of WMD's within that country, chemical weapons arsenals that Bill Clinton, the head of his CIA and Saddam, himself, assured Bush, existed. (Note the fact that "WMD's in Iraq" was not the lie of the Bush administration but, rather, the mistaken claim of Clinton, his CIA and Saddam Hussein).
Obama, on the other hand, has failed to secure
the support of any of our so-called allies in his decision to
"discretely" bomb (his wording) Syria. We know that this
military attack on the part of the newest Cowboy in our White House, will
have nothing to do with regime change, nor will it include the direct bombing of
chemical staging centers in Syria, according to military interviews on
the several news network. He, also, has to be careful not to weaken
Assad to the point of allowing the rebel forces, now under the control of
al-Qaeda after two years of Obama's do-nothing stance, to defeat Assad
and turn Syria into an Islamic theocracy.
No regime change? Yes !! Why?? Do I need to remind you of his failed efforts at regime change in Egypt and Libya ?? And we have not reason to believe that this military action will be any more successful than the mess he has created in Afghanistan.
