Cast of Characters in Wednesday's congressional hearings and three aspects of their bombshell testimony.

Closest to the camara is Eric Nordstrom, Diplomatic Security Officer and former US State Department Regional Security Officer in Libya.  Last October,  Nordstrom complained that talking to State was like talking to the Taliban within that department.

Gregory Hicks (center), Foreign Service Officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Charge d’Affairs in Libya, before he was summarily demoted,  following his questioning of Ambassador Rice’s September 16 interviews on all major networks,  on the grounds that she better.

On the far side of the camera is Mark Thompson, acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counter Terrorism at the US State Department. Thompson,  who had knowledge as to who organized the Benghazi attacks,  would testify that no one interviewed him as to what happened on 9/11,  even after he requested a hearing.  His point?  Obviously,  the thorough investigations Elijah Cummings bragged about,  were not all that thorough.

In summary,  their testimony would prove a terrorist connection known to the Administration within 24 hours of the crisis,  establish the existence of a "stand down" order in the offering of military aid to the victims of that terrorist attack and denied by military brass,  and,  refute the notion that a thorough investigation followed.
