With the failure of Obama's gun reform plan, we learn why he will never be a great president . . . . . . and to think, only three and half years and we are done with the guy.

It was a bitter defeat for a president accustomed to winning, a second-term downer that may — or may not — foreshadow the slow decline suffered by so many of his predecessors. Obama seems to have the public behind him, but it illustrated his less-than-Johnsonian powers of personal persuasion, the possible shortcomings of his decision to wait a month after the killings to present a plan and above all the limits of his go-to “outside” strategy of taking his case directly to the American people.  Read more at the Politico.

And in this brief paragraph,  we have the reason(s) why B Obama will never be a great president.

What is implicitly a part of this comment [above] is the fact that Obama had no anti-gun agenda in mind at the time he took the oath of office for the second time  . . . . .   which is not to say that he is not “anti-gun,” only that he had no specifics in mind,  before the day 26 died at Sandy Hook Elementary.  His only agenda was/is the defeat and destruction of all things traditional,  as relates to the foundational principles governing this nation and its legislative process.

Evidence of this is seen in the quote, again above.  It made mention of the fact that Obama waited for a full month before coming forth with a plan.  Why?  Obviously,  he had no plan before that sad day in Newtown

And, speaking of the “traditional  . . . . . legislative process,”  it is the Obama habit to “craft” a plan,  and immediately take it to the people in an effort to force congress into action.  This is the way he chooses to govern,  and it really does not work all that well.  Rather than negotiate,  he opts for news events such as his dinners with the GOP,  or photo ops with a supporting cast in the background or standing at his side.

Before he entered politics,  he was an aggressive black community organizer for 20 years,  and with that description,  he comes up lacking in the several abilities needed to best serve the people of this great country.  His aggressiveness has no place in the world of politics and comes off as perpetually argumentative;  his “blackness” finds him attached at the hip with the angry blacks in the country (a majority of blacks are not in this category,  by the way) who reject the Constitution as a white man’s document,  and despise the 13 colonies that founded this wonderful nation;  finally,  he shares in the M.O. of many “community organizers” who stress refusing to compromise as they ridicule and embarrass their opposition on the way to "victory."  With these people,  it is all about winning  --  and Obama is writing the book on this methodology.

And,  so ,  his “plan” failed and many in congress are sick and tired of his duplicitous hypocrisy.  Indeed,  his second term might not be the legacy inspiring period he needs it to bem   as his time in this country winds down to zero.

MICHELLE OBAMA: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

  2. "the bill most likely to pass Senate consideration will be no more intrusive than California’s current gun law. I live in the state and can tell you with confidence, that such a federal law would be fairly tame. It does not appear there will be a weapons ban, not even a limit on the size of magazines. Universal background checks ? Probably, but that is a good thing" - John Smithson

As shown above, even Smithson supported this bill

Keep voting against what 90% of America wants. See where it gets you. See where it has gotten you - 8 yrs of Obama and the rest of your life under a Dem president.
