Loss of interest in the politics of division is at an all-time high.

It's almost like they don't give a damn," he said, in a "Squawk Box" interview that aired Friday.

The Oscar-winning director who's also known for his tough-guy roles asked rhetorically, "If they don't give a damn, why did they expect anybody else to?"  (source:  CNBC News)

Political blog traffic is down,  across the board,  liberal and conservative publishers,  combined.  I have lost nearly two thirds of my traffic since the November elections,  and still,  my world wide ranking is the same as before.  Conclusion?  My traffic woes are identical to all other blogs or my rating would have fallen by 10 million or more.  It has not.

Hate mail written to this site is down,  as well  . . . . .  another marker confirming lack of interest in the politics of “transformation”  and resistance.

Cable news finds all outlets down.  Fox’s O’Reilly and Hannity shows are least effected.  MSNBC is most effected.  All of its primetime programs are down 1- to 15 percent.

But,  beyond these anecdotal examples,  we have the numerical totals for the 2012 presidential turnout:  8 million fewer Democrat voters and 1.5 million fewer conservative/GOP voters as measured against the 2008 totals.  In addition to this,  there could have been an addition 5 to 7 million voters for the 2012 election,  as a result of population growth.

“15 million fewer voters”  means a huge loss of interest as to what is going on in our country.  This lack of interest threatens to effect the much needed GOP recovery effort and,  even more so,  the Progressive plan to secure their place in a one party system.

No one is talking about these numbers or what this decline means.  You have heard it first,  here at Midknight Review – new and revised.
