Little wonder the man can't write a budget that will pass his own party's vote or figure out how to pronounce "corps."

<<<<<  Myth: Obama was a "professor" at Chicago Unisersity for more than a decade.  Truth:  he taught summer school [only] at Chicago and was ranked in the bottom 30 percentile by those who were his students.

The following was originally posted on January 26, 2012 by the Left Wing blog,  This Week.

"My message is simple," President Obama said in his State of the Union address Tuesday night (Jan 25, 2012). He may have been speaking literally. Using the Flesh-Kincaid readability test, which employs a mathematical formula based on the number of words and syllables in a text's sentences to determine its reading level, the University of Minnesota's Smart Politics blogcalculated that Obama's speech was written at an "8th grade reading level" — the fourth-lowest of any State of the Union since 1934. Here, a look at how that breaks down, by the numbers:

8.4
Grade level of Obama's 2012 State of the Union address
8.8
Grade level of Obama's 2010 address

8.1

10.7

12.0
Average grade level of John F. Kennedy's State of the Union addresses, the highest of the 13 presidents measured. His speeches averaged 23.8 words per sentence.

5
Presidents since 1934 who delivered at least one address at the 12th grade reading level: Harry S. Truman, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, John F. Kennedy, and Dwight Eisenhower

7.5
Lowest grade level for any State of the Union address, delivered by George H. W. Bush in 1992. Obama's 2011 and 2012 speeches come in as the the second and third lowest, respectively.

10.4

9.5

The American Thinker has a decent article detailing the rise of the Ungifted One.

Read The Atlantic Wire for confirmation as to his status as summer school professor.

As to his budget drafting inabilities,  one of his efforts was so poorly written, that the CBO refused to attempt to score,  tell those who would listen,  "We can't score a speech."  There were three congressional votes on his personally written budgets,  however.  None of them received a single vote,  either from the Republicans or from members of his own party.  His budgets failed in the Senate,  97 to Nothing and 99 to Nothing.  In the House,  his budget failed 414 to Nothing.  He is the first president in American history to have been so judicially rejected by Congress.
