CHICAGO (CBS) — The gay rights group
Equality Illinois is launching a campaign against Chick-Fil-A – petitioning
universities and lawmakers to evict the fast food restaurant from their
campuses and planning a “kiss-in” campaign by gay and lesbian couples outside
Chick-Fil-A restaurants. . . .and to think that we have a "president" who does not give a damn about civility and true freedom of expression. Time for this jerk to leave Washington.
What a shame. Now they are trying to destroy another
business. Normal people need to show up
at Chick-Fil-A restaurant under attack,
and eat their hearts out. I wonder what would happen if "we" started picketing gay bars,
photographing customers entering gay establishments, put straight bumper stickers on their
cars, and televised their gay
parades. This last strategy would send
gay rights back into the stone age. If you have not been to one, you have no idea what I am talking about.
Should they be left alone? Only if they leave others to conduct their lives as they see fit. The owners of Chick-Fil-A have never campaigned or worked against the gay crowd, nor does the restaurant chain refuse service to these types. I bet they even employee these folks -- but if they want a fight, fine by me.
Updated for this opinion: understand that I have never opposed "gay marriage" for the sake of traditional marriage. Rather, my opposition has always been tied to the fact that should gay marriage become the law, and it will, hate crime laws will be used to silence those who are the opposition. Such is already the case in Canada and France - speech opposition to the gay combine is defined as criminal and is punishable by fines and jail sentences, even if that speech takes place in a church service. The gay politic is driven by that community's jihadist population. And, they will not rest until their filthy lifestyle (you do know what male gays do, right? You know something is not "normal" when one has to use antisceptic after 'making love') is taught from K thru12, they have their own freaking holiday, and the psychiatric industry pronounces normal people (you know, the remaining 97% of our society) as mentally ill for its gay intolerance.
