Falling unemployment in Florida and Ohio appear to be helping President Obama’s prospects in the two states, which could decide the 2012 election. The two have a bounty of electoral votes at stake between them, and Florida famously cost Al Gore the presidency in 2000. Four years later, the election between then-President George W. Bush and Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) came down to Ohio.
O.K., that sounds as if things are looking pretty serious for Romney. He simply cannot lose these two states and the news is all good . . . . . . . . . . for Obama ??!!
Here is what is humorous about this Leftist prognostication: these two states are administered by two newly elected Republican governors, John Kasich in Ohio and Rick Scott in Florida. Both governors were backed by the TEA party and both are doing an excellent job for their perspective states. I seriously doubt that Obama will be able to capitalize off the success of either governor.
