Even the Europeans know that Obama's green agenda is an abject failure.

Green-Economy-Monster-Eating-Cash

A report by Reuters confirms the conservative mantra as they continue to criticize Obama's [day] dream of creating millions of jobs via his green economy agenda.   Instead of millions of jobs and a robust GDP,  we have a pathetic  1.7  GDP as an average  for the three years he has administered his nonsensical schemes,  and a colossal  economic failure unprecedented in American history.    Reuters,  Left leaning and European in origin,  tells us that since 2009, while the wind industry was growing in terms of the numbers of wind farms,  the industry was losing more than 10,000 jobs.  During the same period of time,  the fossil fuel industry had created 75,000 jobs.  One wonders how many jobs could have been created if Obama had worked with Big Oil,  in a sensible fashion,  to supply fuel and jobs while we "weened" ourselves from foreign oil supplies.
In the Reuters report, we have this timely comment:
"All of this stuff is extraordinarily worthy for driving long-term economic transformation but extremely inappropriate to sell as a short-term job program," said Mark Muro, a clean-energy specialist at the Brookings Institution."
Inappropriate, indeed.  In fact,  it was a blatant lie.  While there can be no doubt that Green Energy must be an increasing aspect of our energy strategy,  the fact that it had/has  no supporting infrastructure and is extremely expensive to move forward,  makes it a consideration for a time when our economy is healthy.  Promises for it to be more than it could be is the lie to which we refer.  I would think a sixth grader could have figured that out.
The Labor Department tells us of an Administration goal of 80,000 [not "millions" by the way] green jobs created by 2013.  Instead, we have created only 16,092 [DOL stat] jobs, and have no prayer of creating even 25,000 green jobs by 2013.   But,   we sure as hell's fire plan to spend all of the half a trillion dollars set aside for this pipe-dream.  Did you miss the point?  $500 million dollars to create 16,000 jobs?   Geeeesh.
Conclusion:  Obama is right in seeing the need for green energy increases.  He is wrong in every other consideration relating to that issue.  He is such a child.
