In an interview with Newsweek, Joe Biden warned against labelling the Taliban as an enemy of the United States.
According to MailOnLine, Biden presented the notion that the Taliban is not an enemy of the U.S. and should not be talked about in such terms. The vice-president said the militant Islamist group only represents an inherent threat if it allows Al-Qaeda to strike at the U.S.
Wow. Apparently the Administration does not believe that a nation or a terrorist group is our "enemy" unless and until it strikes our Homeland or [maybe] our military fortresses.
What is even more incredible than this idiot opinion is the fact that I had to go to an European news source before finding this story. It is not being reported in the Lame Stream and the reason is obvious -- Biden's idiocy on this matter does not help Obama's re-election.
Understand this: Obama's foreign policy is pathetic, not his "strength" and mind numbing statements such as this make my point.
In fact, with an improving economy, where Obama is taking this nation and the failure that is his foreign policy may be the battleground for the coming election. Time will tell.
