On Thursday, September 9th, 31 million people watched part or all of Obama's speech to a joint session of congress. The very next day, Friday the 10th, he went to Virginia and demanded that Congress "pass this bill."

Understand that "the bill" has not even been fully written by, ah, Mr. Obama.
