You should know that of the three issues enumerated above, the least influential is the current recession. to be sure, the recession has played a subtle role, but the Post Office is a quasi government agency, and is insulated from the recession for that reason. If the Post Office was an actual business entity, if it had to carry a balance sheet or die, it would be gone, already.
