During the month of August, Gallup interviewed a total of 15,300-plus Americans and concluded that Obama had the worst month of his term in office. His approval numbers were down from 65% in January of 2009 to 41% just a few days ago, a three point drop from July. Do not forget that Obama spent a billion dollars to win an election by just 7 % of the popular vote.
Obama lost ground in every voting demographic including Blacks (84% approval, down from 95% in 2009) , Hispanics at48% (down from 78% at the time of the 2008 election), and, most surprisingly, albeit most ignored, Whites (only 33% of this demographic approve of Obama's efforts, down from 53% at the time of the election).
In a FoxNews survey, a full 40% said that Obama "had no clue" as to what to do with the economy. This coincides with a CNN poll that found 40% were of a similar opinion.
