US backs off, Gadhafi digs in... Rebels Ask For Cease-Fire!

Apparently, Obama is not going to allow our jets to fly under the banner of NATO. He is the one who started this intervention and now, he is pulling out so that he can brag about a promise kept.

Our question is this: Why start worrying about keeping promises, now??

The rebels do not have the fire power to defeat Gadafi, or, at least, that is the way it looks at this time. In the end, it is beginning to look as if Gadafi will stay in power, making the "humanitarian" intervention success null and void.

We all know this is the case, all of us, that is, except Barack Obama. . . . . and he hasn't a clue.

Look, he came to us without a shred of experience in the corporate world. He knew nothing of national finance strategies. He was not a warmonger and had no understanding as to military morale and strategy. He was only a community organizer.

But how did he do with that job? Anyone know? What were his accomplishments in that field of endeavor? He certainly has no "credentials" in any other field of labor.

Add Libya to his list of failures. We seriously hope we are are wrong in this prediction, btw, but we believe we see how this is going to play itself out.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
