Gallup: 10.0% unemployment versus the Governments claim of 8.8%. Who to believe. Who to believe.

Unemployment rate falls to 2-year low of 8.8 pct.; employers add 216K jobs in March

The good news in this is two fold: a) we are putting things back together an, b) Obama can no longer claim any credit for the improvement. The capitalist hating bunch was hoping to fault capitalism for the recession. They certainly gave it the old college try, didn't they.

The fact of the matter is clear: American capitalism is alive and well. Here is what Gallup has for an unemployment number. As you evaluate the evidence, ask yourself, "Is there any reason to believe the Government's claims?"

PRINCETON, NJ -- Unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, was 10.0% in March -- down from 10.2% in mid-March and 10.3% at the end of February, but above the 9.8% at the end of January. U.S. unemployment was 10.4% at the end of March a year ago.

  1. The Republicans have done ZERO in the House to create jobs... Their primary agendas have been the following:

    1) Curtailing Abortion Rights - H.R. 3
    2) Defunding Planned Parenthood
    3) Defunding NPR
    4) Investigating American Muslims
    5) Declaring English As America's Official Language "English Language Unity Act"
    6) Reaffirming The "In God We Trust" Motto The House Judiciary Committee last week approved this GOP resolution

Please explain to us how these innane initiatives are helping the US economy? You're full of BS.

  2. And the Dems have lost more than 5 million jobs since taking over the reins and didn't even do an outline of a budget for 2011. They are the party of no.

Government does not create jobs. A capitalized society does. The best government can do is stay out of the way. The Dems with their big government nonsense proven my thesis.

Ob, btw, you need to add to your list the largest series of budgetary cuts in history - already and with 4 trillion more cuts to go.
