Palin weathers the storm and is still standing. She deserves our respect. She's got my support.

I am a big fan of Sarah Palin, but I was very discouraged over the effectiveness of the make-believe attack on Palin over the Tucson shootings. When I make my case against the Liberal Lie Machine, besides George W Bush, Sarah Palin is one of the first examples that comes to mind. The Liberal Media knows that, historically speaking, if they are voracious enough in their attack(s) , they can change public opinion significantly.

But, before we all get to thinking that voracious Marxist lies always win elections, think "Bush 43." It has always amazed me that Bush, hated as he was, could win elections and get the Dems to vote unanimously for the Iraqi war. Because of that reality, Palin and those who support her can take heart.

I like the more serious Sarah Palin. She has to be herself, of course, she does not have to worry about being "Miss Congeniality." In fact, if she is going to be a statesman, she needs to not even try. The Marxist press pigs are going to do her in, anyway. Palin likes both Reagan and Margaret Thatcher. Take Reagan's emphasis on policy (specific policy statements have to be Palin's) and Thatcher's business-like presentation and you have the perfect woman.

I hasten to add that if the new Palin is the result of the Tucson Beat Down, then she needs to continue being herself. It's just that I like the pro-business Palin persona, the same Palin that ran the city of Wasilla and the State of Alaska.

Understand that there is no one of the top five GOP candidates who is more in line with true conservative values except Palin, with Huckabee running a tight second. She is right on the issues; that is why the Leftist trash talkers use ad hominem attacks exclusively . . . . they cannot beat her in the arena of truth and stated values (issues).

One thing for certain, the woman is no quitter.

We have included this video of Palins Jan 18 Hannity interview for only one reason and that is to give you a visual of what we are calling "the new Palin." I believe we are looking at an aspiring private citizen after her baptism of fire over the Tucson Lie. I do not believe that she has faced the kind of hatred exemplified over the course of the two week period beginning with the Tucson shootings.

Below we give you a review of a typical ad hominem attack from the donut eater at Firedoglake, as dishonest a bloggster as can be found named Bill Egnor.

He begins his post with nothing but an exclusively ad hominem attack. In P3, he wants his brain dead readership to believe the Left actually did not attach the Tucson murders to Sarah Palin, ignoring the fact that the NY Times made that association. The Hill gives us this comment relating to the Times implicit accusation: "And for the Times, even though the “exact motivations of the suspect in the shootings remain unclear,” it is hard to imagine that Sarah Palin wasn’t behind it" (PERMALINK) Understand that Palin's supposed "complicity" in the murders was discussed ad nauseam on all the major networks, cable and otherwise. We are saying that the Palin "connection" should have never been discussed. The criticism was so wide spread that it is even made it onto the stage. MCT Community Theater put a line in one of its songs wishing for the beheading of Palin. Management apologized for the occurrence which makes things "all better."

Egor (read: Egnor) forgets about the two previous elections in which the Leftist media used targeted maps to drive their campaign strategies. If we made the claim that Palin's target map idea came from the Left, Egor would be hard pressed to prove us wrong. But who cares about the truth or strngth of argument?

Egor makes Palin responsible for the"climate" of violence when, in fact, that "logic" offers no explanation why she is anymore responsible than hundreds of other names that might come to mind. In fact, Egor can find absolutely no evidence that Palin was responsible for the shootings in the slightest of degrees. The fact that the Marxist media gave up on the idea is proof of our view.

Understand that at the time of the Tucson shootings, Palin had vaulted herself in a front-runner position ahead of Romeny, Huckabee and Gingrich.

I could go on with this review. The point being that the Left made a concerted and conspiratorial effort to use Tucson to destroy Palin's chances at the presidency. We are thinking that if she was seen as being as incompetent as "they" say, they would want Palin to win the nomination. After all, the Marxist Media helped to shape the McCain candidacy as well as Bob Dole's run for office. On this point, the Palin numbers are not the concern. Rather, the Left and especially the Obama Camp, is more than concerned with the potential of a Palin candidacy.

Back in 2008, the consensus opinion was that Palin was in the midst of her "ten minutes of fame." Not true. Then there was the story that she was a quitter. Again, that has been proven to be a rather ridiculous lie with Palin standing, today, when most would have given up and faded away. She has not quit and we have confidence that she will not. Who could have predicted her political power and popularity two years ago? Certainly not the Obama Camp -- and they know this. Could she accomplish the impossible in 2012? Who knows, but it is for certain that Obama does not what to find out.

As editor, I have made a decision, of sorts. As long a Palin considers her options, we will --- I will -- support her fully. In my book, she is the front runner in GOP politics.
